I do have hard time understanding (actually i understand pretty well still i needed some introduction.) some of our so called basketball fans in this forum and overall on internet; this was a game of basketball where both teams fought hard to contain W fully concentrating to their defense duties and never had a run but at the end Ukraine had a run going and won.

That's that, our team played good part in this game but it was not up to calibre in terms of offensive end.

Ergin Ataman is one of the best coaches of Europe and he always applies different strategical approaches to overall game plans and in short period of times within games, always in the game and on point in terms of changes as a coach can be. What more can we ask about that.

We don't have enough quality but we have a good amount of team ball and game by game strategies.

Well done Ukraine. Playing simple basketball and taking the obvious shots.

I failed to understand some stuff though, like letting Preldžić dribble into the paint 5 seconds to go and 2 fouls from bonus, as well as corectly running the clock untill 2-3 seconds left just to foul in the next few seconds. Lack of experience showed, yet luckily for Ukraine Turkey is completely out of sync offensively.

Mishula has been solid in this tournament. Only 22 years old.
Mike Fratello has done a great job with this team. There is no superlative talent besides Jeter, but they play good defense, everybody is in sync and the 3-point shooting is always there to bail them out. Another hard-fought win.

And Ukraïna wins! Massive performance by Zaytsev and Mischula, on offense, and all the rest on defense. They didn't even need above-average contribution by Jeter and Gladyr... Turkey not so bad but in the final analysis their shooting was not good enough. Güler and Akyol disappointed a lot.

Asik might break the 'most rebounds in a game' mark at this tournament. He has 16 already. Has anyone gone over 20 yet?

EDIT: I just checked. No one has gone over 15 up to this point. So Asik has set the mark already.

    How you tried http://www.wiziwig.tv/competition.ph...ine=basketball ?
If not, I don't know, but I can say that for 8€ you can have good picture and decent* English comments here: http://www.fibaworldcup.livebasketball.tv/ (mostly play-by-play, sometimes a bit tasteless, but not necessarily worse than what I heard on ESPN during USA-Turkey when announcers kept saying "Sinan Gulej" for "Sinan Guler", as if that were the correct pronunciation in Turkish...)
Yeah, I've been using wiziwig the whole tournament but they let me down this time by not having a Sky Sports/ESPN link.

The ESPN commentators for the USA/Turkey game were regular ESPN commentators, which is why they sucked. The guys who have been doing most of the games, on Sky Sports or ESPN3, have been great.
