wait. I just saw the roster of the 2004 Olympic gold medal winning Argentinian squad.
Prigioni was not there. Why was he not included? Was he not that good during that time or was he injured?

Do you people really think that Delfino will be in the WC?, I mean, when was his last game since the injury?, 2 years?, let him rest....

that time Prigioni was part of "B Team", Montecchia and Pepe Sanchez were better than him that time.

Manu Ginobili has been diagnosed with a stress fracture in his right leg and he's not expected to play for Argentina in the FIBA World Cup this summer.
The Spurs found "the early stages of a stress fracture" during a physical conducted after the season, and Ginobili is in the process of getting a second opinion. The good news is that the 36-year-old is expected to recover in two months, and he should be "fully functional" for the start of training camp.
too bad, I really wanted to watch him with the rest of the gang..
without Ginobili, with Delfino coming back after injury, without quality subs Argentina will have a hard time in our group..

Most stupid and ignorant post ever. Argentina had a wonderful team and got very close to winning the world cup. I think you Brazilians should worry about your own team, instead of burning your country's flag.

Also this has nothing to do with basketball. Btw your country's basketball coach is from Argentina.

Still a small chance for Ginobili to play in the world cup, but more than unlikely as Ginobili needs the rest this summer.

Spurs can just give the green light and Manu will suit up for Argentina.
