I don't think we are getting out of the first round to be honest.
I don't know who planned Puerto Rico's friendly schedule, but after their brief stint in Spain, they travel back to North America to face the US in NYC and then travel back to Spain to re-group. Seems kind of strange.
Our Basketball Federation just sucks, you have no idea, they make a lot of questionable decisions, and our president is just after the money, it's unbelievable how incompetent they are.

its all good untill managers start making your NT roster like in Serbia

Haha, it's so nice that we here in Serbia have no bad feelings about our basketball situation. Puerto Rico is in a tough group all-together, your team has a lot of aging players and both Philippines and Senegal could surprise you. We'll see how you fare in the prep games here in Belgrade, I'll try to get to that one at least (against Turkey).

Dani santiago is 38 and Arroyo is 34, the rest of the players are young, but anyway those two "weaker teams" could surprise us definetly.

The Puerto rico on the list above has an average of 29 years. More than half of players are above 30/pushing 30. In comparison Serbia's current roster's age is 25.7. I just wanted to say that your team (if it is made of the players from the list above) has a lot of aging players, which could be a disadvantage.

The team we sent to the 2010 Championships had an average age of 26 years, and look where that got us.

You had a chance to win with a 3 point shot against the heavily favored Turkey who was playing on their home court, you had a lead up until last 3 minutes of the game vs Greece (and I think we both don't want to remember the end of that game) and you lost against Russia in the last quarter? And the loss against Ivory Coast, I could only describe as running out of steam, after losing 3 games which you played on equal level with more favored team.
It did not bring you in the second round and I understand what you're saying, it is possible it will be reverse with the older team now, but that team back than had a lot of bad luck, that airball for the win against Turkey, the endgame against Greece, all of it really sucked, but that was a good team non the less. If you had just a little bit more luck I think you would go to the 1/4 finals. Maybe I'm wrong, unfortunately I don't have that much fate in this team now, I'm just saying that it is very possible that you will not go in the second round (as your team is getting quite old).
lousy federation, didnt do their homework and we ended up taking whatever was available as friendlies.
after the game vs Angola, they will travel first to Belgrade then to New York and back to Spain.
