Like I said, PR has a lot of talent, let's see how they put it together... You haven't mentioned Dennis Clemente, Andres Rodriguez, Jorge Bryan Diaz... Although they are all long shots to make the roster (including Kevin Young, Piwi Garcia, Ubiles, Lopez, Ayuso, Alamo) but they can help the cause in the practice stages, when the practices start that 24-man squad... I cant wait to see the official roster!

Nathan Peavy to undergo career ending knee surgery. Tough news for puertorrican basketball fans.

Sad to hear that. When he signed with Alba Berlin last year, I was disappointed with his season ending injury. Now this, truly disappointing.

Shabazz Napier scored 9 points of his 24 points in OT for UCONN to win over St. Joe's. Great game for him.

Not to mention he also led the team in rebounds (8) and assists (6).

UCONN will go as far as Shabazz can take them, evidently. He still shot pretty badly despite his 24 points. Lets see if he can play better against what will probably be Villanova.

It will be a challenge for him too. Villanova rebounds very well and is known for their defense. Napier will need to shoot in a much more efficient way compared tonight.

Well he did it. 25 points on 9-13 fg with 5 rebounds and 3 assists. 7th UCONN beats 2nd Villanova 77-65 to advance.

UCONN returns to the final four after Shabazz Napier had a clutch 2nd half. This run reminds me of Kemba Walker's time where Napier was just a freshman.

Napier helped UCONN advance into the NCAA Finals with his defense. His aggressive ball pressure helped pin down Florida's offense. UCONN was very patient tonight and won this game with good team defense. Even Patrick Young said that it was tough scoring inside.

Napier's stock is rising in the draft.

                        More about Shabazz Napier: http://www.metro.pr/metrosport/repre...!G72pIve6elQY/

El colegial tiene intenciones de estar activo en la selección puertorriqueña este verano, en preparación para el Mundial de FIBA en España, ya que su madre y también manejadora, Carmen Velázquez, es boricua.

The availability of Shabazz will be determined by the draft. And if he is available, he will have to earn it. Team is stocked at PG.

Mo Harkless will join the team in july 10.

For now, we only have one, just ONE! exhibition game with usa, and we still don't have a roster, and our basketball league ends in late july....unbelievable.
