Well actually I'm rooting for 22 teams to win, you only root for one.
So you're wishing for 23 countries to fail while I'm wishing for 2 countries to fail
Your argument is invalid
Oh...so you're a pan-nationalist, that's what you're telling me? You should drop the Turkish flag off your avatar and put the United Nations one in its place.
That's pretty pathetic when you have to wish for other countries to fail in order to feel good. You should be concentrating on your own country's success.

All of a sudden Dominican Republic and Finland are MUCH better than Turkey, according to almost everyone here... Pretty weird
We will see....
They aren't MUCH better but as for Finland, they are a better TEAM, maybe not talent-wise but definitely in team chemistry and team basketball. As for the Dominican Republic, they can put on a great team and they have been making great strides since Calipari took over (he is no longer the coach but his top assistant at UK took the helm when he left) and the team is only going up.
There's a reason as to why Turkey is a top 10 team in the FIBA rank, I mean, home-court advantage can only take you so far right? But they have been so consistently bad playing away from home that it makes you have second thoughts about picking them to live up to their potential... Until they prove everybody wrong I will continuously doubt them. There's no doubt they are talented and they have the resources but the seem to choke whenever they play away from home. I believe they will be competitive, no doubt, but so will be the other teams in that group. Even though that's not the toughest group, it still has 3 Europeans, 2 Americans + NZ... It wont be a cakewalk but it wont be a gauntlet either and that's Why I think Finland, Ukraine and DR might have the upper hand on Turkey.
I do see as expected that we are really underdogs here but at least were in the world cup. Am really glad though that some of the forumers here have given as a chance as the darkhorse in our bracket. We really are -twin digits against all the other teams in our bracket except for senegal. Hopefully we could play our A game in all of the games to at least give us a chance or maybe even upset some of them.
Group A: Spain,France(If Parker go), Serbia, Brasil, Iran, Egypt (Iran could beat Brasil, France or Serbia)

Group C: USA….Then the others, but in paper I see Dominican Republic, Ukraine, Turkey, Finland, New Zealand.
Group D: Lithuania, Australia, Slovenia, Mexico, Angola, Korea.

Te imaginas como estaria el LMM cuando aterrize ese avion con las 12 magnificos cargando medallas de bronze??? Wow!! But in all reality it ain't a far fetched dream!! We have the talent, we just seem to play down to the competition every time! If Coach Olmos can finally (with a full cycle with the team) get the team to play 100% every game with discipline and fundamentals the world will see the type of basketball that we can play. I believe we can go head to head with anybody...
As for your predictions, wow Brazil over Greece in round 2? That's a guts call?
Serbia over Argentina is interesting! Los gauchos odian a Los serbios desde 2002! Ese juego seria interesantisimo si se diera!!
I see the groups something similar to yours but I think Finland advances from group C as the 2nd or 3rd seed...

he doesnt wish for other countries to fail in order to feel good it is just boring that spain is always setting up and USA is always winning its no fun man
It is not! but that's the reality so we have to deal with it... Also I believe Spain's vulnerable. USA might not... it depends on what players commit to the WC. However it's fun when we see the gap closing... Now USA cant just put together a team of 12 NBA players 2 weeks before the tourney... They have to train and practice together for a couple of months... so the gap has closed a lot which makes things interesting. But truth is I do not want a USA vs Spain final.
That's pretty pathetic when you have to wish for other countries to fail in order to feel good. You should be concentrating on your own country's success.

If USA doesn't get the title this tournament is a success for me
If Spain doesn't get it either it's the best tournament ever

📺 Re-live ALL the incredible #Paris2024 action ➡️ https://go.olympics.com/watch Full highlights as the United States beat Lithuania 99-94 in the Men's Preli...
And, IMO, without absences Lithuania will be much more competitive than 2012 team. Off course, those chances are very little...
Kinda lost big interest since the draw. I don't mind key player skipping this tournament after all. It would be great for Kleiza and Valančiūnas to skip the tournament. Maybe Mačiulis as well.
However, it will be fun to watch if USA will have any struggles.
