      • Yoo Jae Hak and the Korean Basketball Association has invited foreign players lead Marcus Goode, the MVP of the 2013 SIAC tournament in the US alongside journeymen players like former Kansas St. reserve Darren Kent. Some names also like Isaac Wells, and Maurice Bolden were also invited.

The said names and perhaps others will join the national team in practice. Yoo Jae-Hak said in a press interview that Korea was not looking for a naturalized player in reference on losing to Chinese Taipei's team lead by Quincy Davis, but the foreign players will be used for fine tuning their defense.

                • Lee Jong-Hyun is wearing a protective mask for the scrimmages. The four foreign practice players like Marcus Goode were instructed by Yoo Jae-Hak to be aggressive, be physical and give no quarters to young bigmen like Lee Jong-Hyun, Kim Jong-Kyu and Choi Joon-Young.

                  • Saw some practice footages of the team. Yoo Jae-Hak is also teaming up Kim Jong-Kyu and Lee Jong-Hyun at the floor. I'm not sure who plays PF or C, they inter-change roles at an instant when the screen rolls up for a forward dive execution. Although Kim Jong-Kyu has the better outside shot.

Team scrimmages are often divided into young players versus veterans and later inter-mixed for tactical purposes.

                    - Choi Joon-Young needs more core strengthening and weight lifting.
                    - Moon Seung-Gon is an iso / triple threat.

                    • They are bound for Manila tonight. From the documentary and practice footages I watched, the depth chart:

                      C- Kim Jong-Kyu / Lee Jong-Hyun / Kim Joo-Sung

                      PF- Lee Seung-Jun / Choi Joon-Young

                      SF- Cho Sung-Min / Moon Seung-Gon / Yoon Ho-Young

                      SG- Kim Min-Koo / Kim Sun-Hyung

                      PG- Yang Dong-Geun / Kim Tae-Sol

Cho Sung-Min can slide down to shooting guard while Moon Seung-Gon and Kim Min-Koo can play both small forward and shooting guard. While the C and PF listed can be made to move up a notch to C or slide down to PF. Choi Joon-Young plays SF too but is at a disadvantage at PF.

A plantar injury sidelined him last season but is making progress as the latter is now cleared for scrimmages. He is a possibility for the Asian games next year.
