  • There is a chance now that Lee Jong-Hyun would be able to join the team in Taiwan for the Jones Cup. Lee's healing rate is better than expected and he has been cleared for non-contact activities such as weight lifting and physical conditioning.

    • Moon Tae-Young and Yoon Ho-Young are alternating at SF. Cho Sung-Min is back to playing shooting guard now, but is expected to play SF too. As for Kim Sun-Hyung, he plays both PG and SG for this team; much like with Seoul.

      • We could probably see David Michaels soon with the National Team depending on legislation as per eligibility of being a naturalized citizen. I'm not expecting 2014 but maybe 2015. Still, he has to prove himself in the KBL first, much like Lee Seung-Jun, Lee Dong-Jun, Jeon Tae-Pong, Moon Tae-Young and Moon Tae-Jong.

        • After Cho Sung-Min, Kang Sang-Jae is the next in line for Korea's shooters. Had a shootout with Croatia's Dario Saric, who is NBA material. Although Korea lost to Croatia, the shootout was entertaining.

Had the U19 suited up Lee Jong-Hyun, they would have had a "true" interior player who can rebound and defend.

In the final phase of his rehab out of a plantar rupture. He is out for the national team as he didn't even play in the 2012-2013 KBL season.

                • Yoo Jae-Hak commented about the upcoming Jones Cup about Kore's schedule and the lineup of competition. Yoo said that he plans to utilize the team's depth and the string of the opponents in succeeding days closely mimic the FIBA Asia tournament grind.

Yoo also stated that he will field various starting lineups but not starting Moon Tae-Young and Lee Seung-Jun together.

                    • Some highlights of the South Korea - Egypt match for the opening day of the 33rd William Jones Cup. Korea won 80-63.

Kim Tae-Sol, Park Chan-Hee and Kim Sun-Hyung were able to break into the baseline and feed Lee Seung-Jun the ball for those flushes. Kim Sun-Hyung aka the storm had all the floor space he needed to push the tempo.

                          • Yoo Jae-Hak spoke with the press and stated that Korea's chances in reaching the top three in Manila next month is a 50-50 affair. He stated that Iran and China are the two teams to beat still while Yoo stated that Chinese Taipei has improved with Quincy Davis at the middle and the Philippines as a final four team due to their talent, homecourt and with Marcus Douthit.
