China completed the three-game Sino-Australian Basketball Challenge on Saturday with a 92-73
In another game The Australian men's basketball team has lost 84-78 to China
Imagine what if Yao Ming is present with China !!!!
Imagine if Australia had players like Bogut, Andersen, Nielsen, Bruton, Mills, Anstey in those games
Lebanon could be in trouble unless Argentina gets it's act together. After being embarrassed by Venezuela, they still have the Dominican Republic and Brazil left in the first round. They'll need a win over one of those two, unless they want to rely on other teams losing to get into the top 4.
Yao Ming is a complete team alone
If you don't know him , try to watch his games
Yeah, I never saw him
You better try to compare both sides before you making such statements like you did or just watch Australia with the players I mentioned (and I'm quite sure that there were some more of them missing) and you'll see the difference...

Australia is a good team I didn' t say it s weak..
But Basketball is closely similar to football, full of surprises ..
In the other hand, China is a good team also.. With YaoMing whose having 226cm height is horrible.. But Relax Yao Ming is out of Play , he s in the hospital
You have a chance to beat ' em

What you mean with "you have a chance to beat 'em"? I'm not australian, just tryin' to open your eyes that Australia is far better team than that, which played against China this summer and they for sure are capable to beat China with Yao
It's not over for Lebanon if Argentina fails to automatically qualify, but it becomes very very very unlikely. They'd need every big name from Europe to qualify, maybe even have France miss the tournament entirely.
Argentina has recovered nicely at the Americas, as it stands now Lebanon should be in good shape. The three teams that would likely get the nod over them (Puerto Rico, Brazil, and Argentina) all have fairly easy paths to qualifying now.
The Dominican Republic while talented (and imo going to qualify anyway), doesn't have really any history, successes, or great popularity in their country. So if they fail to qualify it's not a stretch to see Lebanon getting the nod over them.

don't you think Uruguay nad Canada (Venezuela didn't even qualified for the second round so I don't count them too) have a beter chance to get a wild card than Lebanon though :confused

I can't see Uruguay getting a nod over them, in terms of history, though I don't know about how much fan support they recieve. They haven't even been to a world tournament since the 80s compared to Lebanon who qualified without help to the last two WC's it's doubtful FIBA would give Uruguay a handout this year.
Canada though could be very possible, they've obviously got the history, the fanbase, connections to NBA. However it's a doubled edged sword as FIBA really can't grow the game more than the NBA already has. I think if they have a good showing in the second round they could very likely get the nod. However if they're not competitive against group B it could be an up hill battle.
Also there are the intangibles like it being held in Turkey. FIBA's been trying to build the game in the middle east, if two teams have equal resume's I think they'll favor the one with boarders closer to Turkey.
