That has nothing to do with constant renewal that you mentioned. One golden generation is not a constant.

Arenas was the king of DC for about three months in 2006. His 25th birthday party was the top story in the local media for days. Not many athletes have gone from relative obscurity to superstardom and back again has quickly as Agent Zero.

Well Spain were ranked 3rd while Serbia was ranked 5th. That why it was a close game

What do you mean above average??? This team is much more deadlier from the 3 point line than the last year team we added more options like Keselj,Savanovic and Rasic . Imagine if Tripkovic was on this team. We won game against Spain thanks to the great 3 pt shooting but some other games we won thanks to our solid defense. This team can play great defense when they want to

Spain showed themselves to be pretty ordinary without Pau.
Well youth competition titles helped us a lot Now those titles are paying off for us in the senior competition.

Yes, shitting in someone's shoes is sick and worthy of an asskicking. But aside from that, the real issue is, if Arenas was such an asshole, why did the Wizards put up with his behavior and then later sign him to a $111 million contract (Oh that's right, it's the Washington Wizards)? His personality sounds like the type that if you're on his good side he's funnier than hell, but if you cross him the wrong way he can pull some devious stunts. That's the Wizard's fault for being his inabilier and lettng him have the run of the place. I see your point, but when I think of an asshole, I'm thinking of a guy who has difficulty getting along with his teammates or polarizes the fans, not some out of control practical joker who's been given the greenlight by management to misbehave. I had a 30 second grin when I read the passage:

"An athlete known for his uncanny ability to charm basketball and non-basketball fans is suddenly being mentioned among modern sports outlaws such as Plaxico Burress and Michael Vick"

The authors couldn't be more idiotic for making such a comparison.

Established?? He is 19. Rubio is an assist-first PG, controls the pace of the game and is one of the best playing the pick&roll. Shooting ability continues to be his handicap, but he is improving in this aspect too. Anyway, I agree with you, Rubio will never be a scoring machine

You must be referring his 13 turnovers in 7 games so far.

He will play for Spain, almost sure.
