Arenas was the king of DC for about three months in 2006. His 25th birthday party was the top story in the local media for days. Not many athletes have gone from relative obscurity to superstardom and back again has quickly as Agent Zero.
"I really look forward to see Slovenia in Katowice on Saturday and Sunday afternoon. If that is the case, I'll try to wear something green Kto nie skacze, nie Słoweniec, hej hej hej "
Look at how things turn out. Last season with Olympiakos, Teodosic took 7-8 last shots and missed them all. Not only that but he made horrible decisions in those last seconds. The culmination of the horrible decisions was the one that he took in the EL semi-final game v. Partizan where some romantics (myself included) have suggested that maybe it was a pass to Childress . The only thing that I can say is that Duda indeed inspires players cause under Giannakis, Teodosic would not have made that last shot (even though Giannakis supported Teodosic the entire season last year). As an Oly fan I can't wait to see Duda, Milos and Keselj settle in for the new season.
I was watch this game again, and it was the best game in maybe last 5 years, even more
full tempo game, a several amazing shoots from both teams, constant fight and for the end, game winner shoot from 9 meters.
there is no reason to be grumpy
this is not the end for Spain..they will be better team next year with Calderon..and some other coach..
you are right... Still, we have to commend the Spanish. They have shown to be gracious in defeat (this is what marca writes):
"In their genes, there is only one word - victory. Historically, they are used to teaching others basketball. Teo has returned the Serbian team in the orbit, after they have been wondering around aimlessly in the desert for several years, in a difficult political situation".
Spain will survive, no doubt about it. I'm sure we'll see some other great players from Spain emerge.

now that the dust has settled.. what do you think of Scariolo's decision not to foul in a tied game with 25" to go? I know other coaches would think otherwise, even if it had to be Milos shooting. Some say it's best to handle a situation yourself than to play for defeat or overtime (zots, for instance), and I tend to agree with that.
