    EC 2001: Spain 3rd place
    WC 2002: Spain Quarterfinal
    EC 2003: Spain 2nd
OG 2004: Spain Quarterfinal (Spain was 1st in the group and lost to the USA that was 4th because they lost to Puerto Rico and Lithuania)
    EC 2005: Spain 4th
    WC 2006: Spain 1st
    EC 2007: Spain 2nd
    OG 2008: Spain 2nd
    EC 2009: Spain 1st
    WC 2010: Spain Quarterfinal

With Pau in the next two years still a contender for the medals. 2013 could be difficult for you. But it isn“t like Spain has no talent to continue after Gasol, Navarro, Garbajosa, Calderon with good results.
For me Spain is the best European team for this decade, that doesnt change by the loss today

Here we go.... Spain and refs go one next to the other IF the comment comes from the Balkan.

Look, the refs did not have any input on the game BUT certainly it was not in favour of Spain....

Hello, this is a game, sometimes you lose sometimes you win....

So you do not think that referees can affect the outcome of a game? And you are wrong, no one in Greece is actually blaming the referees... not the players, not the greek basketball authority... its the fans that can see that even though Spain and Greece are equals, Spain is just a bit more equal than Greece. I refer to my previous post where I did mention that Spain has for the most part of the last 5 years been a better team and that it was for this reason that they did not require help from the refs. Especially in the Eurobasket in Madrid where every one of my Spanish friends here in London until this day admit that Spain was favored and had a horrible attitude as a team.

Three pointers just killed Spain..until the last second.

When Teodosic made the shot..I can feel the force of my body just went all the way down!

Great game...too bad it just didn't go Spain's way (subjective statement of course).

I commend Serbia on how they played tonight.

    Arise, Serbia! Arise, empress!
and let your children see your face.
Make them turn their hearts and eyes on you,
and let them hear your sweet voices.

    Arise, Serbia!
You fell asleep a long time ago,
And have lain in the dark.
    Now wake up
    And rouse the Serbs!

    Raise high your imperial head,
So that land and sea may recognize you again.
    Show Europe your delightful face,
As bright and cheerful as the morning star.

congrats to serbia, they were better whole game. if serbia didn't miss so many ft it would be easy winn. spain paid for tighting defense to stop krstic so serbia had lot of open 3's. and at end.....nothing to say....just...tedodsic!
