LOL Tyson with 3 fouls already...Go home son

To this day I still wonder if McGee would have been better... at least his reaction time is not that of a snail.

Slacked off a little this quarter, it's really hard to go a full 40 in a game like this, but it's hard to nitpick when you're up 27.

You're probably referring to slavic name Vladimir!! The other three names are Portuguese/Angolan.

He was born in 1978, during the South Africa - Angola war. During the war Angola got lot of help from the Soviet block(mostly Cuban). Maybe he is named after Vladimir Lenin

Umm no..we can nitpick a lot. Actually our D is horrible and the holes are being exposed more as this tourny moves along. Again, let's assume our next games involve great outside shooting and larger men in the middle, we are in for a loss. Watching Angolans get second chances is sickening to me. We should be up by 50+ points right now.

If they play Colombia he can go up against Stalin Ortiz. Loser goes to Siberia.

USA vs Angola - just as much of a contest than one expected... some bright spells from Angola, USA looking like they are playing a practice match...

Yeah, there are still some concerns with the defense. Far too many open shots and uncontested dribble drives for the Angolans. That sort of stuff has to be cleaned up before we reach the quarterfinals. This game was academic before the lay-up drill got started. Angola's style of play plays into the US's hands, so this match-up is not indicative of what they'll face next round.

you're wrong, it was Brazil who won the last FIBA AMERICAS championship

Limited inside game for the US despite squaring off against a much smaller team. How will the US answer the zone defenses of Euro teams?
