No, seriously, there is not much of a reasonable chance that Angola will win, but if Durantula gets in a car accident and Kevin Love and Chauncy Billups get food poisoning, plus a few other disasters....and if we have to put Jim Boheim and Coach K on the floor...then Angola might win.

i agree on the point that attendance was low, but you are overlooking a point.. i mean do you know how many foreigners are in istanbul and how much of them are americans and america sympathizers.. i mean there are so many americans living working playing in turkey.. where were they? for a match at 18.00 in istanbul is a difficult ask for any local to go considering its not your match and tickets are so damn expensive! i thought honestly many americans would show up in the arena but they didnt.. i remember turkey playing in japan and even there we had a more than noticable number of fans.. it is also on the teams countrymen to take the responsibility and go and watch the game..

in principle you are right, but thats not an excuse and the general expectation from young americans (considering he is young) to become a bit more world-aware if you know what i mean.. so thats what he meant i guess.. one has to open his eyes, no matter where you are..
