The blowouts are not good, obviously. But we can't lock the WC to Asian and African teams. Only China and Angola are quite competitive. The other teams must participate to gain some experience and be better on future competitions.
Bronze Medal - IBN 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup Prediction Game
Those blowouts were expected. I don't know for Asian teams but, by example Tunisia and CIV results were expected.
They were heading to the slaughterhouse. Those two countries doesn't have (and never had) any professional Basket-Ball league, and therefore no BasketBall culture and very little International experience. In what concerning me, I didn't even know until last year that they had a Basketball NT.
This sport is not like football where a poor team can hold a World Class team to a draw.
I heard somewhere that S. Mejri, the Tunisian center only has 3 of 4 yrs of Basketball behind him. You couldn't expect them to challenge World class teams with a strong BasketBall culture.
It's good to have some blowouts, they make the good teams look good and build anticipation for the knockout games. What you don't like to see is the good teams coasting through the group games and winning by 10-15 points without ever really being threatened.

It's pretty much impossible to prevent blowouts, and they happen every major tournament. The World championships just stand out because there are so many teams at so many skill levels.
