I'd love to see Iran beating US but let's be realistic

It seems like everyone has been making this out to be some sort of international political battle. Very dumb. There are plenty more storylines than the underlying tension between the USA and Iran's respective governments.

Here's my take on the situation, both written and with an audio narration:

USA and Iran are shooting jumpers, not launching missiles.

I got to meet the Iran team back in 2006, they are some cool guys. Both of these teams could give a crap about some stupid politics. It's all about playing bball.

I am looking forward to seeing what Kamani and Ehdadi do this game. I hope Chandler gets more minutes, I want to see him and Ehdadi go at it.

Yeah, the players either don't give a crap about politics or are not allowed to talk about it.

USA and Iran already met in the 98 football WC and it was a perfectly peaceful game from both sides, even though the medias (at least the french ones) seemed to expect hell to break loose during the game.

nice article man but somehow I didnt feel the extreme tension from both countries, neither from the peoples or the media..

'though its different story if its football (soccer) game.

btw I want to know who is the poster who choosing Iran on the Poll

trailing 13-19, Good first quarter, they have managed to stay in the game so far,
fantastic 1st quarter by Kamrani, he is handling the pressure extremely well. best player out there a the moment

US defense is looking garbage. Man, they are starting to show us why they will probably not win this WC. Horrible rotation and less aggression will be the end of our rope later on.

Good game by Iran so far.

The Stephen Curry behind-the-back passes don't help either.

I don't know why I'm watching this game, but Kazemi looks more and more like a real deal.
