Actually It would be better for both Lithuania and Spain if Spain won today.. Because the only scenario i can think of that would push Lithuania out of 1-2 spots, is Lebanon winning both remaining games (Lithuania loosing to France). And if Spain wins this one and Lithuania wins against France, Spain has a good chance to still finish 2nd.
Go Spain
The other scenario:
Spain looses to Lebanon
Lithuania losses to both France and Lebanon
NZ wins against France
And here you go Spain out of the competition.. So it is very important game for Spain (do or die)Last edited by toxmarius; 09-01-2010, 03:30 PM.

Go Spain
Lith 4-0
Fra 3-1
Sp 2-2
NZ 2-2
we are at the spot nr 1 for sure. France beats NZ. Spain beats Canada.
Lith 5-0
Fra 4-1
Sp 3-2
Nz 2-3
unless France loses to NZ. And we lose to Lebanon.
Lith 4-1
Fra 3-2
Sp 3-2
NZ 3-2 (order may be different due to +- point difference)
so, there is a chance, but it's highly unlikelly that France will lose to NZ.
the same thing if France wins today, the situation is the same

Looks like Spain continue their performance at yesterday's fourth quater level. Navarro misses open threes, Rubio creates nothing, Rudy already got a technical for big mouth. Four minutes has passed, and only four points scored by defending champions.
