I voted Turkey. The Greek NT is one of the biggest underperformers so far in the tournament (Spain is another Priest's gospel) and there is nothing showing that this is going to change. Sofo can make the difference for hardly 15 minutes and then what...
    Anyway, hope dies last

this game is for all the marbles. if greece wins, they have a good chance of making the semifinals, likely facing new zealand/canada and then slovenia/brazil/australia on road to semifinals. if greece loses, they will face lithuania/spain and then usa on road to semifinals. big difference!

How the system is working in case that Greece & Turkey end up with the same points? is it point difference or the winner between them?

as far as i know, ithe tiebreakers are 1) wins head-to-head and 2) points difference (in case of 3-way or 4-way ties).

since turkey beat russia, the only plausible way for greece and turkey to have the same points would be for greece to beat turkey and then lose to russia. in this case, the points difference in the games turkey-russia (+9 turkey), turkey-greece, greece-russia would come into play. if turkey beats greece, there is almost no chance of a tie between turkey and greece (turkey would have to lose to puerto rico and even then having beaten greece turkey would be higher placed in a 2-team tiebreaker with greece).

i am not saying we will lose. i am saying that a win is this game is absolutely crucial to our chances of making it to the semifinals given the way the brackets are shaping up.

                    tie-breaker voote comes!

yes , i voted for turkey on last year's match too. And that was a very close game.

Pshcocococococologically (rip, someone you might have known)

well. if turkey can't win this one when'll they beat Greece? seriously?

it's like a joke but.. turkey has a better defense than greece in this tournament -so far-.. it's going to be a close game , but expecting in a way that turkey usually leads, then wins it by a small margin.

How would Greece win this? Spanoulis(maybe 3D too, well he wasn't there last year) should really take some miracle shots like he did last year.

Borousis(Turkey doesn't have a great defence for a big man playin in the perimeter) and Sofo are the keys for Greece too.

Turkey side, I think Kerem Tunçeri is a decent point guard who's a great behind-the-stage leader for the team.

Whoever gets more fastbreak points(imo turkey) wins this one.

If Greece play like they did the last two games, well.. good luck for them.

Let's hope for a fun and competitive game and no fights!

                    -cheers

we are not pessimists if we were playing the same way in friedlies i would be very satisfied ,but now it is another team ,like the Turks are feeding them tavor.

Hedo and DD are out ,Iliasova and Gunlum are the most dangerous players for me,Sofo and Fotsis will play for first time an i don't know how they will react .

i don't know Onan but Tunceri was pg of Real Madrid 2-3 years ago. Well if you play for RM you must be really good.

For tomorrows game. Turkey has better defence but Greece has mental advantage against Turks. It will be close game, even if one of the teams has 10+ score advantage i think it will not last too long and other team will catch up.

will be really tough game and ft s are really important. if asik plays like last year turkey will never have a chance...

come on man even my dog has better ft % than this player...
This is the second most exciting thing you can do it indoor and you can do it in front of thousands. Well you know the first one and bedrooms are a bit small for thousands.

                          I agree almost 100%.
I hope Greece will make it but this is not what i believe.
If Turkey can't beat Greece this time.......I doubt if they ever do it for some years.

My vote is for Turkey. Not only me, any person who is Turk give their votes for Turkey. This is not about nationalism etc. This is about that we believe in this team.

Actually i am a bit relaxed and waiting the game.

                            Good luck for both sides.
