Croatia had more luck than knowladge today, but we still managed to win. I never saw so many lucky shots... Their game is too egositic and based only on Popović, Ukić and Tomas' individual effort. No team chemistry what so ever, no team play what so ever. I'll be surprised if they win against Brazil. Zmago Sagadin (who is commenting on Slovenian TV - Sport TV) said many times why the hell Banić isn't more used, and why coach Vranković allows Tomas, Ukić and Popović to do basically whatever they want... He said once that Vranković told Ukić to run offense number two, he went with number 4 even if he heard him... Undisciplined, without any real game plan... that's why unpredictable as hell.

Slovenia did good, we controlled the game and pushed the rhythm of the game when it was neccessary. I may be arrogant by saying this, but I expected us to win Croatia by 10 or more...

FT (as usuall), stupid fouls by zoric, andric and tomic, controle of defensive rebounding, inabilitys of popovic to get wide to recive ball, injury of zoric (please god let him be ok), bad decision to risk slokar and zupan 3 pointers, slovenia taking advatage of our bad defense of pick in 2nd half, start to play to much individual cosed bay great slovena defense and some of our players limitations, popovic-kus-banic-locar togheter at one point on court...nice list of our negative points LOL I'm also mad on Joke that there was no single minute of our best 5 Zoric-Tomic-Bogdonovic-Tomas-Ukic

Slovenia deserved thier win.

Main difference was in defending pick and roll. Whereas Croatian bigs didn`t show hard and quick enough on screen, Slovenians defended it pretty well and Croatia was unable to generate much offense from these situations.

Tomic was no show, he was overwhelmed by physicallity of the game. Kus was defending Dragic pretty well in the first half, not sure why Vrankovic decided to abandon this tactic. Also Planinic could get more minutes exploiting his size advantage in the low post as Croatia was struggling to get anything going on the offensive end in the third quarter.

Slovenia was dominant on the boards, which in nor surprise since only Croatias athletic bigmen is Luka Zoric.

None of two teams looks capable of winning medal imo.
