Bauermann speaks German in time-outs almost always. There are exceptions in which he switches to English sometimes because its his usual language as a coach, but normally its German.
It was a different scenario when we had Kaman and Sensley in our team who indeed don't speak German.
You have a very curious understanding of nationality. Of course it makes a player German when he lives nearly his entire life in Germany, speaks German fludily, has German family and a German passport.
Actually there is just one player in our team who isn't born in Germany. That's Demond Greene, who, like I already told you, came to Germany just after his birth.
So where are those naturalized players you are talking about?

Seems like you have a big problem with German NT without being informed what you are talking about.

some people here are just ... well i better not say.
comments like germany was tired because they had close game are pretty kindergarted type of stuff. I mean WTF? and aussies didn't have close games against argentina (currently ranked no.1) and jordan
it's the bloody WC - no time to get tired.
please stop excusing pathetic (on this occasion) german team and congratulate aussies on a good win.

Australia's dominance and good play is not at stake.

I am starting to think (after this bad display) that Germany just had luck the night before this game, caught us in the moment when we lacked focus in both O and D, plus they wanted to take back their revenge at us for missing the chance to win against Argentina. Yesterday they hit everything, but today against Australia it was painful to watch
