    Some of these posts are

Germany had close games against Argentina (a game they could have won) and Serbia (a game that took two OTs to win). Please excuse Germany if they didn't have enough energy to play Australia (much younger, quicker, and athletic than Argentina and Serbia).

      totally useless..
Australia has better chances of winning against tougher opposition if he is not playing..
and with Bogut and Jawai back he won't be called..

Where will Serbia play when Germany plays in B division? In Z division?

Have you seen the last two games?
After many years without any young promising talents, we have finally some guys who know how to play and who will compete on the highest level in some years. And you are thinking, that we're going to the B division? That's ridiculus.

Look at Pleiss, Harris and Benzing. All of them are expected to get to the nba in one or two years. We have some young decent role players in Staiger, Schwethelm and Ohlbrecht and a lot of very young talented players in the youth national teams.
I think the german squad has a bright future. Despite the huge loss today.

Pleiss is just tall He looks scared on the court and he is not the youngest anymore... Benzing could be a good back up player for some decent Euroleague team. NBA is a bit too much for him. He is 21 already... Harris is also 21, just another solid guy that got through Gonzaga. There are thousands of players that are better than him and never got close to the NBA...Ohlbrecht is perhaps the most talented player you got, but he is too raw. Ohlbrecht and Benzing.

I'm totally serious about the B division... Montenegro, Israel, FYROM and Italy have more talent than Germany. Britain will be a tough opponent if they decide to keep the team after the Olympics. Belgium has a nice team also. The German U16 and U18 played in the B division just a few years ago... But you will probably find another Kaman, Pesic, Greene, Okulaja don't worry

Well if you have no energy you might as well not come to this tournament.. everybody has the same conditions. Somehow at least three teams managed to play their best games at this stage.. No excuses, Germany was totally crashed by Australia, because the Ausies came out angry.. did a huge job on defense as well as offense. Props to them !! Scoring percentage was very good.

Once again congratulations Australia, nice game.. Good luck in the WC.

Okulaja lives in Germany since he is three years old. Marko Pesic since he is 11 years old and began playing basketball in Germany. Demond Greene has a german mother and came to germany just after his birth. Christopher McNaughton is born in Germany and lives here is entire live except the 6 years he played in NCAA and Spain. Elias Harris is born in Germany and lived here till he left for Gonzaga one year ago.

May I continue or may YOU stop your racist bullshit regarding the German NT?

Nah, all these guys are born and/or raised in Germany, so they're fluent in german. It's their first language. I think Bauermann is just used to speak english from his times as a club coach as well from the times when naturalized players like Sensley, Bradley or Kaman were on the NT.

The game itself was a dismal performance by the german team. Australia seemed to have scouted them well, always having good answers to all the screens and picks, thus making it especially hard for a team not known for great creativity to run its systems and create good looks. Fatigue was also a big issue, but I guess it was rather mental fatigue than heavy legs. The German players lacked spirit, you could tell by their body language. Australia gave them a hard time, shots were not falling and they basically gave up, resulting in an easy win for the Boomers.

Let's hope the Bauermen forget about this lousy performance quickly and get back on track for their next two games.

so what are you saying is that Australia didn't give their best in their games?? Well i doubt that.. I couldn't care less if Germany got tired, the loss is the loss..

Why does Bauermann speak English in time-outs? Should I go on? Pesic lived in Germany because his father coached there. OK he had enough quality for the German team, he probably speaks solid German but it doesn't make him German. Also, there is a huge difference between "German mother" and "lives there since he is 11"...Germany is taking advantage of the system but it doesn't make them German. Its not just Germany but you have the most naturalized players. I mean whats the point of national teams anyway?

Germany loses and the very next minute there is a serbian trolling.
