it sucked to see the Lebanese NT surrender against France after a fair 1st quarter.

Lebanon played his worst game and France deserved the second win. I can say they crushed us..
I see this French NT playing on medal games. after their win over Spain, and their ability to CRUSH us. they're proving to be an A team this year.

Game of the day: Germany vs Serbia

Most dominant: USA

Most Surprising: France, not in that beat Lebanon, but how good they've looked so far given their prep games.

Most entertaining group: A. Four teams tied at 1-1, Argentina could have lost both games they won, and Jordan was in both games they lost.

I liked Vidmar and Slovenian play quite a bit today, but the main takeaway is, that everybody is really UNDERESTIMATING Team USA.
There's is absolutely no chance for any team to stop their offence and they're still playing only at halfspeed most of the game.
It does not matter, whether Spain, Greece, Argentina France, whoever will find some new tricks. None will work. As questionable as US frontline is, it will take a miracle for any team to lose with less than 12 points. This team is gonna be more dominant than 2008 Olympics team, cause they are hungrier.

Day 2 MVP: Spanoulis. We was there on the crucial moments of the game.
The best performances: Since the beginning USA ended with any reasonable doubt about the winner. Slovenia is a good team, but the US were too much for them; France with an unexpected blowout win; Serbia stole the victory to Germany at regular time, but the Germans kept the cold blood and the confidence at OT to get a very important win.
Most surprising performances: Jordan&Angola. At day 1, Angola had a really hard time against Serbia, Jordan almost surprised a solid Australia. Today was exactly the opposite.

I completely agree with you. People underestimate this team USA, while i think it will bring a gold to them after 16 years.

Although the first part is corrected (ppl, mysteriously, seem to underestimate this team), I think it's too early to say anything about the second. It's way, way too early to draw any conclusions. There's a maximum of 9 games in this tournament, and nobody will remember that it was a 30+p blowout in 8 games if they lose the 9th. In 2006 it was the same thing, wasn't it?

I do think Team USA are the clear favorites, but not overwhelmingly so

again we played very bad from double digits in fast breaks in friedlys now we are satisfied if we make 1 or 2 ,the only good think is that we play shit but we win,zone is killing us ,i can't understand how pro players can't hit a free 3pointer or shoot 50% from FT.
PR was unlucky they had good 3pts % but low ft .

USA -Slovenia ,i can accept it for Greece but i can't understand how tradionally good 3pointers lose free shots and FT ,with 5/24 3 points it is a miracle to lose 22 from USA .
When the refs started to whistle the travelling and carrying and the fouls USA lost their glow.

In the Australia vs. Argentina game, Joe Ingles was the best for Australia, whilst Luis Scola was the best for Argentina, he's just unstopable.

Was really annoyed with Aleks Maric, he had a shocker!
