Really focused on the "roll" part of PnR. As in rolling right into the defender instead of actually setting a screen.

If only Dwight Howard could set a screen like that. Talk about clearing some space.

USA can't let up for one second on the defensive end against Brazil or they won't create enough fast break chances to accommodate their lack luster half court game and combat Brazil's size.

I was actually more concerned with Slovenia than Brasil. But yes I love how we suffocate with D until the opposition spills the ball. It's ironic how Slovenia came back in runs when we dropped our D. Coach K better reiterate this as we move along.

Plus I'll be live blogging the game over at www.euroleagueadventures.com, so come check it out. I'm really hoping for a good game, sort of like yesterday's first quarter vs. Croatia, only sustained.

I talked to Stephen Curry about how they prepare for players they've never seen before and how Goran Dragic has changed his approach this summer for the better.

ELA talks to Stephen Curry about Goran Dragic and Freaknick's Granddaddy.
        Thank you Mr. Nick G.

                Shortly...
US 2nd lineup is way worse than 1st one... almost regarding everything. 1st lienup occasionaly plays a great passing team game even for euro standards, big respect, I miss that everytime I remember old Lakers vs. Detroit finals 20 years ago...

doubleteams will cost US when they'll face a PF/C actually able to create, pass or hold onto the ball in the paint (that PF/C definately isn't Slokar, Brezec, Vidmar or Zupan.... but Lorbek type might just do the job).

cutting those fast breaks with efficient exploit of "small fouls", more awarnes with returning in defense and PG's that won't turnover the ball as unexpectedly, might easily cause 10+ points less for US in the offense

...to sum it up, this US team is beatable, especialy if they'll react nervous without a comfortable lead somewhere deep in the game, haven't seen enough of other teams on this tournament (croatia was a complete no-factor... Serbia-Germany didn't impress me neither) to claim US won't go all the way neither.

Mike K. is doing a better job with every year on the international stage.
