    Well, it's just my personal opinion that Bjelica can add more value than Kešelj. Better defensive player, rebounder, can play on several positions and very good ball handler for such tall person. Offensively, Kešelj(a pure SF) can shoot really good, but Bjelica is not much worse than him for that matter. Last night they all performed very bad, Kešelj somewhat with better performance, but... It's hard to tell by looking at only one match.
    As I said, I think that overall Bjelica is much suitable choice. (TBH, his form is not that good ATM, but I believe in his talent more)

    Anyway, Raduljica is the problem here, not those two... His absence was a very low blow for our game against Germany and their strong and tall inside players. Veličković and Mačvan struggled to make a free space and Perović obviously can't play the hole game. We simply needed one more C.

      • just watched the replay game earlier!!

        a well deserved win for Germany!! they are the underdogs IMO coming to this match and they lead almost throughout... Gotta love the winning shot by Jaglas(?) haha.. almost out of bounds shot from beyond the arc..that was great!! His game reminds me of his fellow countryman, Nowitzki

        -For Serbia a superb game by Kosta Perovic

          Don't get me wrong Stojakovic has been my idol since I was a kid but I have no respect for him recently when it comes to NT. Not to mention Ivkovic traveled all the way to America to have a sit-down with him and talk to him about the NT and he couldn't give a rats ass.
          Correct me if I'm wrong but Peja has not played for the NT since 2003? That is not recent and he has spent his best sporting years (from age 26 to 30) avoiding the NT.

          Dirk on the other hand has only missed the last 2 years of NT service but will be there for the next couple of tournaments. These two years he has missed the Germans will spend building a new team and then when Dirk returns they will be ready to challenge for medals again. That's a big difference.

          • What a final, really impressive. Germany last three pointers was really impressive.

                it didn´t matter that chairman krstic and milos teodosic were banned ... you played 8 against 5 and you lost anyway

                man, those calls by the refs were ridicolous
                1. Congrats to Germany. A well deserved win.
                2. This game was about us, we did nothing and that's why Germany won.
                * we were poor on D and O
                * we had terrible %'s
                * our creativeness was zero
                * Germany played smart and we were too stupid to figure one play that we should've
                * Tepić (a player that people will soon talk about as only a great talent)
                * if we were in the game, even without the two missing players, we would be talking about Serbia's expected win
                3. A bunch of funny players. Who are willing to put up a fight, I'll give them that. We have a term for those kind of players - indijanci (whatever they do, they didn't do because they can do it, but because it happened to them). I look at them and think 'what do these people really do for living?', 'cause if it's basketball, their families are gonna be hungry in ten years. Germany's going to do ok until the bombing and luck run out. I'm guessing a crazy, unpredictable team like Lithuania, Russia or PRico is going to be the end of them. An ugly end.
                4. This loss is gonna wake us up.
                5. What f*cking calls?!? I was pissed at the refs too, so I guess it's a matter of the eye of the beholder.

                  Cool clip...

                  Congrats to Germany!

                  Bauermann, Jagla & Green did their thing...

                  When Jagla scored that 3pt shot, I felt like he stabbed me in the eye...

                  Tepic is my favourite player, so I'm biased, but I think he's gonna be ok, and I respect the decision that Tepic should take the last shot...

                    I just think with Nowitzki the German team would rely on him too much. I think that's bad for the team as a whole because offense becomes one dimensional and predictable. There are times when Nowitzki has big game, but other players are nowhere to be found. How many teams will be successful with this approach?

                    Right now, I like what I see from this young German team. There's a lot of experience and confidence being gained. But I doubt it would be attainable with Nowitzki playing.
