Neverhteless we wouldn't complain about reaching the next round - something that should be possible, 'cause Australia, Angola and the Jordanian team are not exactly impossible challenges.

it didn´t matter that chairman krstic and milos teodosic were banned ... you played 8 against 5 and you lost anyway
man, those calls by the refs were ridicolous

Taking some time off once in a while with all those games on his back is ok in my oppinion, and at the same time a good opportunity for all the young guys to gain valuable experience. Our goal has never been to win a medal or even get close to that in this tournament. The main focus is already on the next Euro Champs and the Olympic qualifier, and this tournament a great challenge for the talents that need to take over for us now.

Stojakovic was USUALLY there for most of his career as well
They only play when they see their interest. Why didn't Dirk come this summer? I'll tell you...because he signed a new multi-million dollar contract in the NBA of course he's not going to come now. He's got to prepare and rest for next season. This is why I'm pleased that Krle is the only one that was called up from the NBA in our squad. The rest of those guys can kick rocks together for all I care. Don't get me wrong Stojakovic has been my idol since I was a kid but I have no respect for him recently when it comes to NT. Not to mention Ivkovic traveled all the way to America to have a sit-down with him and talk to him about the NT and he couldn't give a rats ass.
No of course not, I expect Germany, Serbia, and Argentina through to the next round. Which group will they be in thoughIt's all tactics from here on out. Like I said, good luck to Germany i've always had respect for your "Never give up" mentality.

I only remember one and that was at the end of the first overtime where your team drove to the basket and were fouled for sure but NO Ref will ever call that. Believe me epsecially at a World Championship. I've seen many Serbia games and especially in the later rounds as well the Ref will turn his head in a situation like that. Fair? Idk but it's been like that for decades so......
There was one out of bounds call on Serbia's side of the pitch where the buzzer was about to run out but your players knocked the ball out and the ball nicked the rim meaning our ball and new shot clock.
Greene obviously fouled out with a deliberate push as it would have been a fast break. Could have been unsportsmanlike foul as well.
There was a shot clock violation/out of bounds play on your team on your side of the pitch.
There was not that many bad calls and the ref was fair to be honest.
BTW These are just calls in overtime which I'm guessing these are the ones you're complaining about.

Since playing in the EC Tepic moved from Partizan to Pao in club competition.
How much do you think has this effect on his game? What are the pros versus cons of his working with coach Obradovic? What is Coach Obradovich's renomee when it comes to working with young, developing players? Please share a thought, especially those with knowledge of the greek club competition because beside euroleague I don't get to watch greek teams.
My observations:
Comparing the way Tepic played in the EC to his game today, I miss his drives to the basket. He seems to drive less and with not much confidence. In the particular game against Germany this could of course be owned to the fact that we had little outside shooting so the defense could collapse in the paint. So maybe this observations might be a bit biased. However what bothers me as much is the ballhandling. It seems to have gotten worse compared to the EC.
Question: Would you if at all ascribe any of this to his new venue of play? Does Pao play with less drives to the basket and less agressive than Partizan, relying more on jump-shots? Frankly I have seen Pao only in a couple of games, so I cant answer this. Maybe someone else can. In any case I keep asking the questions of what a player Tepic would be now, had he stayed in Partizan. And adding to that: How would this - Tepic staying in Partizan - affected Rasic?
About the game:
I didn't see the game as terrible as some others. Germany was playing very good (shooting good) and we just couldn't establish any flow of the game. We should have gone to Perovic more often. Germany was the smarter team; especially the way they milked the clock - their movement of the ball was also much better than ours. That's the one biggest fault to assess to the Serbian team, if there is one - the movement without the ball: at some times it even completely stopped: that was reminicsent of the old 2005 - 2007 times that I hoped would never resurrect. Perhaps there was a lot of holding going on, but that should have been smarter shown to the refs to get fouls.
The one player I missed: Raduljica. The german players would have had more problems to drive with him in the paint - I don't understand why Ivkovic didn't take him (but took Savanovic).
The play I was especially disappointed of: Bjelica who seems to have gotten a lot worse in comparison to the way he played at the EC (defending, ballhandling!). To some degree Tepic.
The one player I would have tried more often: Paunic. Although the time he was in the game, he got blown by the german guard. So maybe the reason he didn't play a lot was because he was to slow for the german guards. When the hell did they get that quick?

No disrespect to your other players like Kaman and co. but you're not really a basketballing nation so it's expected.
Find me one person in Serbia that dislikes Divac even though he's played more games than Dirk for the NT he's still missed many valuable tournaments throughout his career because he played for the Lakers and Kings.
It's expected for these NBA players to miss games. However, I wouldn't put Dirk and Kaman in the same list. I would corelate Dirk to Vlade in the sense of being their for their NT; however, I don't put them in the same category as someone like Bodiroga who played in Europe his whole career and always played for his NT when given the opportunity.
I'm just trying to say there's a fine line between NBA players and EuroLeague players. I know which players I would choose on my team

1.Fotsis
2.DD
3.Tsartsaris
4.Batiste
5.Pekovic and many more
If you had followed my posts you could easily realise that Tepic wasnot good this year.In fact he was a big dissapointment.Obradovic was pissed many times with his performances. This year has a big chance cause as it seems he giving to him the time and the role to help heavily PAO.But the truth is that he hasnt develop himself a bit from Partizan days..
PS PAO is playing very aggresively with many drives inside and split out.Tepic has not adapt to this role and its his own fault since PAO training all the time on this years now1st in IBN 2018-2019
