I think, that overall in this team Gecevicius and Jasais are the best shooters from 3-pt line, but the first one is our of shape, and the second doesn't shoot at all...

And the most fascinating fact that the most stable Lithuanian Euroleague player (along with Kleiza and Šiškauskas) is dramatically down in NT. I'm mean I do overrating him, but come one - he was the symbol of consistency in the team that beat Žalgiris this season. Is that normal?

I can only say good words for Pocius. But basically having in mind "preparation for 2011 and further" perspective, the picture is looking ugly...
about gecevicius topic.I know what happen he is nervous BECAUSE ITS HES DEBUT! and its normal... its two diferent things to make 3 pointers when you are playing in rytas and in world championship...We have only one player i recall that when he was a rookie in n ational team was suprise its was macijauskas in 2003...but you know we cant compare calm martynas character and fearless arvydas character...and that your thing that gecevicius is guy to go at 22 years in his debut you were joking right? he gonna be good guard but definitely his not ready to become a leader atleast now..one seasion is not factor when you played 35minutes and all offence was on you (similiar as Penney yesterday). In our team penney would be average player like jasaitis...

Gecevicius is out of shape, thats obvious, the only way to "bring" him into the game he used to play - giving him some major minutes in the upcoming games. But I really doubt Kemzura will do it, especially if Pocius will be playing pretty well.

On the other hand, we badly need a shooter... Maybe its worth to risk?

what i can after this game.Awful game by us..canada was playing run and gun without brain and we were lucky to beat them..this team isnt ready yet to compete agains elite team. This team needs 2-3 more years...without our vets in 2011 we dont have a chance to win a medal...I know our team gonna play better but i would say this to make 1/4 game would be very good results for Lithuania this year.We have 2 wins but we are playing beyond our capabilities...

Im just proud of ours team spirit that they do not let their hands down when it was -17...all other not good...

ps. im optimist of course and the best game and form is better to have in playoofs stage not group but still...

Well a win is a win everything is still going by the plan.. The game it self was horrible for Lith team, shooting was really bad, they missed a lot of undefended shots, missed free throws, the 3ps were terrifying. Rebounding was bad also, stupid turnovers all the way.. Definitely the worst performance yet.

At least the one good thing is that Lithuanians showed some character in this game and didn't give up.

I still hope to see Gecevičius and Jasaitis making some 3pointers in a row And one more time we see how it's hard to make screen for our 3point shooters Eh, no one cares about that and no one may see it while we win :/

Man, it's WC, you never know, what may happen. Yesterday France beated Spain, Argentina has very hard game against Germany, Jordan almost won over Australia, but right now they're losing to Angola, which yesterday was humilliated. This game doesn't show everything.

Canada needs a go-to scorer to carry them in 4th quarters. they lack this kind of a big player.

they always not playing well when it matters
