Guess how many posts by the end of the World Championships

Currently, Interbasket sits with 456K posts (and counting). The 2006 World Championships was responsible for 7000 posts, while the 2008 Olympics added 10,000 to our post count.

With the tournament running 2 weeks, and we definitely have more members than in 2006, where do you think Interbasket will be - numbers of posts-wise, come Sept 15, three days after the World Championships?

I assume (unless we have some unexpected downtime) to gather more than 7000 posts, so guesses will start there.

Greeks, Serbs, have potential to go deep into the tournament, and both have large fanbases.

Expect the Lebanon games to get a couple hundred posts per game.

Also game times are friendly for Europeans and Americans as opposed to the tourney in Japan and China, I think that will boost game posts.

The Olympics always drag more attention worldwide than the WC, so my prediction is that it'll be slightly behind Beijing Olympics numbers.

Also with Lithuania and Turkey still alive, there's always the chance of new members from both fanbases joining the forums.
