I watched it on NBATV and go so sick of the British? annoucer calling Yi "Gi Tianlian" and and mixing up "Wang xipeng" "Shu Yulang" "leo wei" and "suan yu'a."
But I like how Yi and Sun played today, hopefully Yi can break out this year for the Wizards. All the pressure is off him and the expectation for him is not too high over there. If he can lead the Chinese teams to some wins, it will help build his confidence and he will do well in Washington. Its really too bad that Jeremy Lin choose to play for Taiwan...he would be perfect for us!
Yi is a monster. He's super athletic and graceful for his size. I'd like to see him touch the ball more in the post and either score from the block, kick it out to shooters (yeah, Zhu Fangyu would've come in handy in this tournament), or pass for players cutting to the basket. He's so underused in his current capacity.

Exactly! he's an athletic freak even by NBA standard, that makes him almost unstoppable against international competition because of his quickness and hops.
