    Australia beats France 67-66.

It was the best game of the french this summer, but it was still not enough.
    Maric is still complete rubbish.

More like the consequence of what maric showed. Andersen started at C yesterday (nielsen playing pf and ingles at the wing + mills & newley) and even if maric did not play much, he was forcing too much things. Might be because he has too much motivation but he was defintely not the smartest player around, relying way too much on his strong (and heavy) body.

I did not watch the game between brazil & australia, but from watching the game stats, they look too similar to consider it was accidental. Andersen did a much better job for sure.
Though, to make you feel better, nielsen was also disappointing (funniest thing was when flo pietrus played him and posted him, not necessary what valencia fans would expect)

                  Australia 80 - Ivory Coast 59

Two weeks ago, who would have predicted Australia to win this tournament?

Very nice work by the Aussies, but they look stuck behind Serbia and Argentina in group A.
