I dislike Spanish team and support the opponent in every game, not because of jealousy. Why should be jealous of Spain only? do you think you're only successful basketball country in the world?

It's not the referees, either. As examples given above, Yugoslavia was infamous for it (the 2002 WBC final... i'll keep saying this).

Hell, it's not even flopping. Ginobili does it on a master level, but people admire him still and his country's basketball team. Argentina is one of the most beloved teams actually.

It's the attitude. it's constant whining and those unbearable sight of crying faces of world's top class players. Man, it's disgusting.

This is the only reason I want to see Spain fail.

That's something I can understand. Felipe Reyes have spent his whole life complainig in the court, but he's getting better now. Rudy, Ricky, Mumbrú... you know what? I really miss Carlos Jiménez in the NT because of that. Always calmed, never complaining... I am confident that the image of the NT has suffered a lot since he was gone.

Just for you to know, I always hated that so called "argument" that people uses when receiving critics: "you are jelous". A lot of people say that when they don't know what else to say. Especially football fans, and especially Real Madrid fans :P

yeah I don't find anything so peculiar about this.It's normal for many people's national likes and dislikes to come from such "silly" things as 300 year old history,religion or how good the players look shirtless.

Of course he is free to like or dislike whatever the reason (to each his own), it's just not a very solid one. Especially if he doesn't know the opinion we spaniards have on colonialism now. I mean, I don't like the french national team, but it wouldn't be fair to say that I don't like them because they invaded us under Napoleon.

I can understand that cultural differences may affect what you like, but the truth is that there haven't been much contact between Philippines and Spain the last century.

USA here too for sending again a B' team in the world championship. Which i find pretty snobbish both to the world championship and the rest of the world. I don't want to see them anywhere near the medals for this reason alone. Otherwise i would probably have picked another team....

It's not like the U.S didn't want to send their best team to the WC. It's the players and NBA teams who should be blamed for this "B" team being sent.

I think I will add any team to my list if they complain about the USA getting the "support of the referees". I am beyond sick of hearing this crybaby attitude from other countries about "playing by the FIBA rules" when it suits you. Nobody says anything of the moving screens, though, when they play the Americans. I guess if it benefits them, there's no sense of justice needed.

Gallis is clearly worse than pau. He is still a good player but Pau has 2 nba championship near he did near 20-10 at play off, he plays in the ebst team in the world and is unstoppable with his national team. Pau has in his 4 last tournaments Gold WC, Silver European, SIlver Olimpics games and Gold European. Not bad. Gallis hasn't got it.

And maybe Gallis is more important to greek basketball than pau to spanish basketball. If a worse player is better from his country than a better player the reason is that greek basketball tradition is poorly than spanish basketball tradition

And for Spanish haters I understand u. 75 % or mroe are greeks and we always win over u. It's normal that u hate us
