Here is a thread for all the friendly games prior to the Japan WC.

To begin with, I just learnt that the starless 2-time defending champions Serbian routed the refreshed Italians by 30 points. Anyone has the box score?

        You're welcome
Greece will head to Bormio this week as well btw, to play friendlies vs Canada, Serbia and Italy.
I'm curious to see if the Serbians will be able to maintain that level for the WC and what's up with Italy (afterall some players were missing on their side and it still is preparation time).

The games in Bormio will be shown on Raisport sat, but I have problems receiving the stream through the internet.

I wonder if my link is outdated.
          There is a link here:

Does anyone else have problems receiving it? If not. Can someone give me a link that works?

          Thanks!

just a small thing: it's interesting that your media emphasize the triples so much (trojke = triple, right?) when providing the game stats. Usually we see the points, and then rebounds or asists in brackets, not triples unless it's something extraordinary. Well, I'm not surprized that you ex-Yugo's love 3pointers.

nope. That's Ümit Türkoglu, from Banvit (not a relative).

You forgot to mention Serapinas, who have small injury now and will skip this tournament. I think he has quite good chances to make it to the final 12 then Šiškauskas is out.

Serbia beat Greece 79-75. Darko led the Serbians with 17 points, 11 rebs, 4 blocks.
Tsartsaris had also 17 for the Greeks.

Before that game Mancinelli-led Italians beat Canade 73-67.
