Although the FIBA 2010 World Champs is still on its early stages, but the first few games played by Asians against the best of the worlds already showed that the improvement is very evident, even Lebanon beating Canada by 10 and Jordan and China losing close matches against Australia (by one) and Greece (by 8) respectively.
Greece 89 China 81
Brazil 81 Iran 65
Lebanon 81 Canada 71
Australia 76 Jordan 75
Not mentioning that these 4 countries representing Asia in the world champs are beatable by other countries on the region during Asian tournaments (i.e. Japan, Philippines, Qatar, S. Korea).
Do you agree that the FIBA should give the additional slot now to Asia in the Olympics as it has been decades since Asia is being given a sole slot on the quadrennial event.
