Strangely enough you did not write that after a 110-104 shoot-out between LTU and the US. Germany has 4 NBA players and 7 Euroleague players. They clearly play European Basketball. Great Greek and Yugoslav teams from the 80s were also trying to outscore teams out of the gym rather than crack them with defense. Does not make them less European...
Plus, as pointed out by Thiago, before the USA game, Germany had the 3rd best defense in the tournament (with games against Australia, Slovenia and Latvia, all known for potent offences!)

If you count Bonga's NBA experience you have 5 NBA players. We can argue about germans basketball stlye but what is unquestionable is that Serbia is the personalization of FIBA basketball even with Jokic inside they always play their special style.
You live with the Freak you die with the Freak!!!

I suggest the first 20 minutes of the last Urbonus podcast to show you how little NBA basketball Germany played

We have to come out gunning at them and send Milutinov into foul trouble. Slovenia in 2017 and US in 2014-16 are the blueprint.
Serbia has lost too many finals in a row, this scares me alone because of statistical reasons, but at the same time, it might actually also be a psychological advantage. What I like is that all the interviews from the DBB have indicated that they don't underestimate Serbia. Let's see

Probably whatever happens in the final, major things will seem obvious in hindsight. With so many evenly matched top teams, it doesn't seem like the teams who have dropped out make for major upsets or surprises. Even France with their early exit. With more top teams in international basketball, it unfortunately seems to be a bit of a lottery without series playoffs.
