Curry with his gravity and unreal shooting is anything but Iso player, perfect fit for Fiba. Booker and KD are great off ball players too. AD is perfect big for Fiba. Kyrie can do everything on court, if he's motivated and Tatum is modern wing.

      Agreed I think:

      Curry / Kyrie(??????)
      Booker / Beal
      Tatum / Lebron(??????)
Durant / D. Green (or Jaren Jackson Jr.)
      A. Davis / Adebayo

+ some combination of: Haliburton, Edwards, Bridges, Reaves from this years team to value commitment is the team everybody wants to see to have NO MORE EXCUSES afterwards.

I personally don't really believe more than two out of the four in bold will be there because of age and injuries.

I’ll give you Curry, but Booker struggled in Tokyo and KD will be 35. KD isn’t the beast he used to be. Kyrie is one dimensional and toxic. You can’t spell fraud without AD.

USA’s problem is all of their best players are in their 30s and have real injury issues. While the best players in the game, who are in their prime, are from other countries.

It's true they are old, but still good enough to play in Olympics. Vast majority of countries have 1 max 2 really good players. USA can have 2 lineups with great players.

Booker is much improved from Tokio.

Kd is past prime, but still a beast.

People don't like Kyrie for obvious reasons, but he's a magician with ball, good shooter and fantastic scorer in the paint. Motivated Kyrie is top 10 player easily.

AD is great, but unfortunately his body is made of glass.

No Beal. Inefficient chucker. Bane is much better. Others are Ok. I would leave LeBron home and take Bridges instead. I would add Kawhi and Jrue.

            • Ok fine, you guys convinced me and I agree with your rosters for the most part but I think that the gravity and personality of a guy like Lebron is needed for a team.

              • Meanwhile Fiba and Ioc can't agree on the expansion the olympics basketball but have added the 3x3 basketball on the olympic schedule must be one of the most rofl moment in history.

not really because 3x3 basketball can sneak in on fiba broadcasts compare to 2 hour long basketball
To becomes Asia's Best, we need to compete against the World's Best..

I believe it's too much gravity for 39 years old player and he never was that good in Fiba competitions.

                    • Next Olympic basketball 2024 tournament in risking to become strongest ever

Usa,France,Canada,Australia,Germany,Serbia all 6 teams will bring elite rosters with atleast half rosters is made of nba players

4 qualifying winners teams from these Spain,Greece,Slovenia,Lithuania,Latvia,Italy

That would be basically 10 strongest NT playing in 12 team tournament and good chance most of top 10 players would play if no injuries

Do we already know, who are 4 group leaders? The only Fiba ranking I can find is from February.

While I agree that this is going to be the strongest ever Olympics. A World Championship could essentially host ALL the Qualified teams, ALL the 6 qualifying teams you mentioned. Plus teams like Croatia, Turkey, Czechia, Brazil, Argentina,

We have a great product which deserves it's own calendar in World sports. The best players should play in the World Championship.

We need to turn the switch. It's not about the Olympics. The very best want to play at the event everyone shows up. So far this is true for the Eurobasket and the Olympics.

The issue is that a team that participates without its very best players to the World cup and/or the wild card tournament, can't easily qualify to the Olympics, so that the players can show up there.

If go by Fiba ranking and Fiba always goes by them

                              Spain,Slovenia,Lithuania,Greece

Should be put in 4 different qualification tournaments as NTs from top 10 that didn't qualified to Olympics

ps. Unless Italy will catch-up on points to Greece or Lithuania it was very close in last rankings

I think hosts will form their own group and at least 2 out of these 4 aforementioned teams will be definitely hosting.
