Free agency is not done at July 10 - it lasts well into the start of the season, with end of the roster players (like some listed above) bouncing from team to team, camp to camp trying to secure a contract. Further, many free agents who do sign early, but with new teams skip NTs as they need to get settled into a new city, new team, new coach, system, teamamates etc.
You seem unaware the tremednous pressure NBA players are typically under to NOT play FIBA. From clubs, coaches, GMs, agents even family (weddings, births, sickness etc.). Sure a club here or there might actually be supportive of young, non-core players playing FIBA - but any star under a big contract or highly valued young player on their cheap rookie contract , usually everyone in their circle is trying to disuade them from playing..
It is ok to admit there is uncertainty and you just don't know anything here. None of us do...

I would bet on Australia getting their first medal at the World Cup this year. An infusion of talented young players with that core looks to be a good combo. My guess on who makes the roster.
PG - J. Giddey - M. Dellevadova - W. McDowell
SG - P. Mills - D. Exum
SF - J. Green - J. Ingles - J. White
PF - X. Cooks - N. Kay
C - J. Landale - K. Pinder
Left Thybulle off since he’s a free agent this summer and those guys rarely play. Also left Daniels off since he was a rookie and NBA teams put a lot of pressure on the first full offseason as an NBA player.

Exactly what I expected no Simmons for Boomers… Goorjan doesn’t want the virus to spread…

Australia usually has solid committment from their players and a good history of turnout, but I can all but guarantee that all these players will not be there in the end.
Many borderline NBA guys without contracts here too which can be a wildcard for participation. Some may be too focused on an NBA contract causing them to skipp out or others may feel little obligation to an NBA club and decide to play.

Giddey/Delly
Mills/Goulding
Exum/Green
Ingles/Thybulle(small ball four)
Landale/Maker
Is a very good rotation, but very thin at center.
