Australian center Jock Landale withdraws from FIBA World Cup 2023 due to ankle injury: "Focus turns to supporting the Boomers how I can and preparing for this season with the Houston Rockets."

Free agency is not done at July 10 - it lasts well into the start of the season, with end of the roster players (like some listed above) bouncing from team to team, camp to camp trying to secure a contract. Further, many free agents who do sign early, but with new teams skip NTs as they need to get settled into a new city, new team, new coach, system, teamamates etc.
You seem unaware the tremednous pressure NBA players are typically under to NOT play FIBA. From clubs, coaches, GMs, agents even family (weddings, births, sickness etc.). Sure a club here or there might actually be supportive of young, non-core players playing FIBA - but any star under a big contract or highly valued young player on their cheap rookie contract , usually everyone in their circle is trying to disuade them from playing..

It is ok to admit there is uncertainty and you just don't know anything here. None of us do...
Well, in Australia's NBA roster, It's Giddey and Green who have big roles for their respective NBA teams, the rest are veterans and bench players... For sure veteran guys like Delly, Mills and Ingles will participate, since they are the core of this squad, while Landele, Cooks, Daniels need FIBA experience to increase their market value... Giddey already declared his participation and he will join for Australia this summer....

An infusion of talented young players with that core looks to be a good combo. My guess on who makes the roster.

    PG - J. Giddey - M. Dellevadova - W. McDowell
    SG - P. Mills - D. Exum
    SF - J. Green - J. Ingles - J. White
    PF - X. Cooks - N. Kay
    C - J. Landale - K. Pinder

Left Thybulle off since he’s a free agent this summer and those guys rarely play. Also left Daniels off since he was a rookie and NBA teams put a lot of pressure on the first full offseason as an NBA player.
I don't think Thybulle and Daniels will skip.... Free agency only around July 1 - 10 and after that he can already participate in his national team with fresh contract on his mind, While i'm sure Daniels will be allowed by Pelicans to increase his experience before coming to the training camp... A lot of incoming sophomores in the NBA after their rookie season were always allowed by their NBA teams for their faster progress as player.....

Many borderline NBA guys without contracts here too which can be a wildcard for participation. Some may be too focused on an NBA contract causing them to skipp out or others may feel little obligation to an NBA club and decide to play.
Those 10 NBA players line up by Australia in their preliminary pool are almost 100% of participating this summer... You don't worry about them... They have pride and support by their federation and NBA teams to play for FIBA WC.... I see all of NBAers of Australia will participate in this summer...

    Giddey/Delly
    Mills/Goulding
    Exum/Green
    Ingles/Thybulle(small ball four)
    Landale/Maker

Is a very good rotation, but very thin at center.
