I talked to a family member of him. He is in training to strengthen his body to be fully ready. He is just afraid to injure himself again, thats why he takes things slowly. Should be starting playing within a month.

I like him the most from any Turkish guard prospects (that I've watched at least highs). Off course, we didn't see him playing yet at any high level. If he would show up on EL court, there would be clear picture how his game translates.

Sure, he is the only usable guard prospect that we have. The next promising ones are 2004 born. hahahahah We are in such a need that hes gonna play if hes ready or not. He can make 100 mistakes in a game he will play no matter what.

          • It doesnt look like that Ömer Yurtseven will make it for very long in the NBA. He has too lazy legs to survive in the NBA. He improved his block timing but is still a liability on defense. Miami can still teach him to be the best version of himself. He is a body and is gonna be a very solid center in Euroleague.

            • Ömer Yurtseven, always accused of being soft is playing with energy and strength against Drummond. Looks very strong and athletic. Lucky to have this kind of opportunity to play after Bams injury. No comparison to his version of one year ago. The program of Miami is really excellent.

              • Tibet Gorener contributed yesterday 11 points and 3 assist, one steal and 2 blocks for Michigan State. Shot with 50% from three and plays really good defense in his first real year of action.

                • In this video you see Derin Can Ãœstün(07, PG/SG, Bahcesehir) with no 13. This kid is a special G-talent. He is the most impressive prospect of Turkey in the small positions since Onuralp Bitim. None of the turkish G-talents had his full package . I´m following him since U12, back then he played for Isik and you could easily see how huge talent he has. In this season i watched 3 games of him, the last yesterday at Instagram page of this user. It was again against Efes and he had a very impressive game. High IQ with brutal driving skills(but only from left side), shot and not mature. This kid is special, not typical turkish G, he draws fouls, very smart, has shot, just everything. I´m pretty sure he will be very dominant in Fiba tournaments too, at least in the U16 level. He is 1 year younger as the competition. Watch this kid, his name is DERIN CAN ÃœSTÃœN

In this video we can see again a blonde Bahcesehir G with no 10, i don´t know his name but look at this talent. A talent like Derin Can Üstün but 2 years younger. Big time 1v1-talent, very unmature, great physical tools. For sure we will see him in the next years etc......

In this week, Kerem Konan played PG in the second half against weak competition. And he played pnr with the big. If this further in the next time and against better competition, sky is the limit for this highly interesting kid. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aYi5ZsOtAqw

                  • Old Banvit prospect Yigit Hamza Mestoglu (2004) had one of his best games yesterday with 22 points (with high percentage), 11 rebounds and 6 steals. He was fouled 7 times.

                    • Sarper David Mutaf (2002) also contributed 20 points for the second team of Gran Canaria but this time with bad percentage.

                      • Great game of my Bandirma boy Sadik Emir Kabaca with 12 points and 3 rebounds against Nymburk in FIBA CL with a solid defense. A hardly believed in him but he found his role and filled it out perfectly. Very versatile scorer, can shoot and work on the low post, can even create very well in the low post for himself. Runs the floor very fast and plays very good iso defense as well as low post defense is also very intense.

                        • Bandirma Product Yigit Hamza Mestoglu made his first appearance for Murcias first team in ACB. He is born 2004. Turkey is about to have a great big rotation again in near future.

                          • Sadik Emir was never a very promising prospect in my eyes despite his great physical tools. He was a horrible TO prone who couldnt grab a ball in the move but slowly but steadily he is finding his basketball game. I wrote many things about his game so i wont repeat myself but a guy who turned just 21 and averages 8,3 points with 5 rebounds and very solid defense is clearly an EL prospect. Never expected it so early tbh. I am just not sure if its too early for him but great progress without a doubt.

                            • A bit worrysome the unexpected growth of Berke Büyüktuncel. He has 9 month to turn 18 and is already 6'10. We dont really need another 7 footer.

                              • Sadik Emir Kabaca what an unexpected rise Great combination of talent and physicality. A bit more coordination and strength he will be a monster. What a frame!

                                Reminds me of Jan Vesely.
