For many years we had hardly notable players in the Euroleague. This season with our NBA returnees the picture changed drastically. Not only the returnees are in action but also 1-2 more other names who has shown promising improvements in the summer time.
Lets start with a list:
Cedi Osman (PAO): Cedi is not a super skilled player but a very useful role player who can do a bit of everything. He will surely be able to defend multiple positions and will also be deadly dangerous in open court and attacking close outs. In a team with Lessort he should get many opportunities to make the right reads. Expect him to play 25 Minutes in the 3 - 4 positions.
Omer Yurtseven (PAO): Omer is a highly skilled offensive player who is additionally a great rebounder. His main problem should be his softness on the defensive end. Nevertheless playing with Sloukas and Brown should give him the opportunity to score as a rolling big. He should be able to play 10-15 Minutes behind Lessort. I hope him to get used to the Euroleague toughness as soon as possible.
Furkan Korkmaz (Monaco): Our child of sorrow... undoubtedly our most skilled offensive player behind Alperen Sengun but he hasnt been playing for two years regularly but he has chosen the right team. Monacos biggest problem was shooting and he can fill that gap easily with guys like Mike James and Nick Calathes but with time if everything goes the right way he should be a three level scorer in Europe and not just a finisher. Hell need time. How long? We will see about that...
Tarik Biberovic (Fenerbahce): He has proven his value as a shooter and he also has shown restricted ability to create for himself but he needs to add some skills attacking the rim. Defense improved a lot in the last years but he must read defensive action better. Will be a tough season for him to get minutes.
Ercan Osmani (Anadolu Efes): Will take loads of minutes in the domestic league since he is the best Turkish player in Efes roster. He showed what he is capable of in the last seaon and hell get only better. A very versatile offensive player who additionally offers good rebounding and capacity to play with the ball with his superb hight. He might be the surprise of the season for us Turks.
Sertac Sanli (Fenerbahce): I do not care about him at all but considering the situation of FB in the center position he should take some minutes but lets be honest, he is done!
