With one of them and Cedi and the resurgance of Sengun and Yurtseven I think this team could go really far.

Sengun look sso much more agile and quicker than last year. I think we can definitely roll out a twin tower lineup with him and Yurtseven
We couldnt qualify for the WC

Isn't there a second game against Poland tonight too?

On which channel we can watch it?

Sengun was outstanding. He was like a superstar. But it is really hard to find out which one is the best fit with him. There are pletty of good reasons for Sanli, Yurtseven, Kabaca, Osmani and even Saybir. For me, it is not clear and I trust Ataman.

Despite the rumors, Sengun looks shorter than last year to me. He maybe even shorter than Kabaca and Buyuktuncel. But he is a game changer and unmatchable. Poland is a good defensive team and he played really nice against them. I do not think there is a scary match up for him. Probably Netherlands, Sweden, Belgium, Ukraine and Bulgaria are too soft. Probably Alex Len will not be with Ukraine. I have not watched a lot Hlinason from Iceland but Iceland probably does not have tools as team. Only Crotia has a lot of sized front court guys. He played great against Zubac in NBA but it would be different in FIBA court.

He seems better as a shooter and it is good time to us and his new head coach. In a scenario which Alperen did not come, I think qualifying would be a hard task to complete.

The second game was played in the afternoon without media coverage and fans. We won 98-73, and I had the chance to watch the game. All players received significant playing time, and both teams gave opportunities to players who don't often get much room in rotation. Sengun played for about 7-8 minutes, scored 6 points, and I think he grabbed around 6 rebounds before exiting the game. Additionally, Ugurlu's injury seems to have healed as he also got considerable playing time. Although I didn't keep track precisely, Kabaca roughly produced 15 points in a short amount of time. Erkan Yilmaz contributed in a versatile manner, and Yurtseven scored 13 points. The team looks really impressive. There are at least 6 players who can each contribute +20 points in a single game. The ability for different players to share the scoring load is extremely positive fact.
Sports is not only considered as a superiority of physical capability. Perception, intelligence and morality assist it as well. The strong with less intelligence and comprehension can not cope with the less strong but with sufficient intelligence and comprehension. I like the sportsman who is intelligent, agile as well as morally upright.

I didn't pay much attention to that. He is still a bit shorter than Sanli, but I don't think there's a significant difference between them like last year. So, he seems to has grown a bit, yes.

I feel like we are a really balanced team with Kenan playing the pg. Wilbekin and larkin are amazing players but Kenan does a great job and complements this team with his amazing defense and playmaking. We shouldn't forget that we nearly won against France with hazer and tuncer as our point guards, larkin and willbekin don't deserve a spot on this roster and neither should they get one for next year

Assuming we have Cedi as well, I don’t want a player like Larkin on the roster.

I think at this point this is Alperens team. We need players that supports him which means good defense and 3 pointers. Instead of a high usage player I wouldnt mind finding a player with that attitude. I am also not sure even if we need one.

Bitim really grow and with Osman Hazer and Bitim we have a lot of ball handlers and play makers and Sipahi, Ugurlu or Ozdemiroglu as our classical point guards.

Right now our biggest problem seems to be PF but twin towers works and we have Bona and Buyuktuncel coming up.

Turkish bb needs a better Furkan Korkmaz, maybe even in this tournament against Croatia. His form in 2024 and 25 will be very important for us. If it counts then you need quality.

Okben is with Alperen the turkish player with the highest IQ in turkish bb. And he has immense IQ in offense too, not only in defense. You can use him as 11-12th man and he can give you in some games much more as the normal 11th or 12th man. A real talented player like this makes difference in the turkish NT because most of our players dont really know how to ball. He has the quality to surprise in the important minutes of an important game because he has real talent and exactly this is rare in turkish bb.

First time in our history we have a leader. His name is of course not Ahmet or Mehmet, his name is Alperen. If we should start winning in ko games in the next years, the reason will be Alperen.

Yes we have problem with basketball iq in the team and with shoot selection most of the time. Furkan can't make even open shoot

Osmani and Kabaca are both more then decent players for that position. We are weak on SG spot

We need just Tunca and Ustun. No more naturalized player. We have a real star now for at least 10 years. Just build around him.
