why did he even sign? Bad move from both sides. Waste of time for Egemen and waste of money for Efes. (just another underachieving talent by the way. He was a top prospect at some point)
The reason is simple. He was the player who resembled Sanli the most. Trashy defense and tempting offensive upside. He seemed to fit to the offensive game of Efes and he is born 96. The alternatives were either too young or they had no upside but the probability of him popping up was very low. Ataman needs to be criticized for his behaviour what we call try and fail until someone pops up. There is no plan in our both EL teams and they surely have no obligation to develop players. Then what remains is to try out. G?ven didnt go to Efes to develop, he wanted the money. If he wanted to develop he would have done it long time ago so I have zero interest in someone who is ticking like that. I want EL level players and he is an obstacle for the ready ones.

If Osmani comes over and does not play 20mpg with this frontcount, Ataman needs to come out and apologize to every single career he destroyed.
Dont worry, he will. At least he wil be tried out heavily if he can contribute (what I am expecting) fine, if not he will have enough credit for the future.

Galatasaray wins in a very fun game in OT against TT Ankara at home with the 3 point dagger of Sadik Emir Kabaca. In my lifetime as a basketball watcher there was just one Turkish player with a killer instinct and this guy was Mehmet Okur. Sadik Emir Kabaca is the second one. I have witnessed many times that he made crucial game ending shots. He is an amazing weapon for the Turkish BB.

OK let's see how he develops, but I agree Mehmet Okur was a cold-blooded killer. If Sadık gets 1/3rd of his level, he will take the spot in the nt.

Funny thing is that I once thought Ender Arslan had the same thing in him, when he was playing in the EL at 19 years old, compared to the talented but mentally-weak Tunceri. What a disappointment.

The Turkish BB is full of promising guards who couldnt live up to the expectations. Ender Arslan, Cenk Akyol, Baris Ermis they had all star potential but they didnt take basketball very seriously but our bigs were always very solid.

Anadolu Efes is seriously interested in Ercan Osmani but Dacka (his current team) demands a buyout of 700k Euro lol.

Dar?ssafaka agreed with Aaron White. It appears that Dar?ssafaka has a deal with Efes about Ercan Osmani.

Next Efes move! Efes sends big man Egemen Guven and point guard Omercan Ilyasoglu to Besiktas and gets big man Furkan Haltali for them. Haltali is surely mainly for the Turkish league BSL.

Berke Aygunduz is one of the effective players of TBL and should be ready to step up his game in BSL. He has been quite consistent through the season, shooting and defending very well. He looks much stronger than the last season, the reason why he is playing quite confident.

He can be one of the group of players that make good contribution at high level after the age of 27 just the likes of Guler and Sanli. Some players need more experience to reveal their actual values. He should find a guaranteed 15 minutes role in a mediocre BSL team next season, after a possible successful season I project quite better career for him in three years. Very interesting player for sure.
Sports is not only considered as a superiority of physical capability. Perception, intelligence and morality assist it as well. The strong with less intelligence and comprehension can not cope with the less strong but with sufficient intelligence and comprehension. I like the sportsman who is intelligent, agile as well as morally upright.

Efes and Fenerbahce started the preparations for the next season very soon. According to UOS both teams are in contact with some local players. Major targets should be Ercan Osmani, Onuralp Bitim and Sadik Emir Kabaca. It would be too early for the last one. Also possible as targets are Erkan Yilmaz and Dogus Ozdemiroglu.

Its difficult to say about Bitims role with Efes since its the last dance for this team but after the signing of Dorsey and the extension of Guduric FB doesnt make much sense for BItim. He will never accept a small bench role. I would like to see him in Kaunas, Baskonia, Berlin or Munich. Osmani is ready for the next level and Efes as well as FB would make sense since both need a mobile big guy who can shoot. I would say Efes suits him more as a shooting based team but the future of Ataman is not clear right now.
