Finally a convincing game of Alperen Sengun. In the night he was dominating Jarret Allen as well as Mobley. What his team needs is a reliable scorer. Jalen Green is too inconsistent even though his ceiling is still amazingly high and what a player Amen Thompson is. I swear if his shot comes around he will be one of the top five player in the NBA.

At this point I am pretty sure that Alpi will dominate Eurobasket even more. He is such a winner type player.

Alperen Sengun is now 8th on the official MVP ranking of the NBA website. It is the peak for any Turkish player until he makes it better.

Sengun really developed a various ways to finish high percentage shots around the rim. His touch is unbelievably good, his footwork is amazing and his turn around fade away jump shot is unguardable but. A shooting team around him would make the life way more easier for him. He finds the open man when he gets doubled.

He is really a walking triple double machine. In terms of finesse, skill and touch, just Jokic can be named better. Sengun is just more athletic than Jokic and Sengun has also more enthusiasm and fire in him. Just his 3 point shooting hasnt come around yet but a nearer 3 point line could help him hitting some threes too.

I like his defense a lot. He has the IQ and the active hands to deflect almost every reachable ball.

Finally a really convincing offensive game of Alperen Sengun! 38 points with 65% fgp against Gobert is really convincing. He really looks in great shape. He shares the ball, finds the open man and has great defensive assets in his team. Hell learn from those losses. Just his ft percentage is not acceptable.

He always starts badly but finishes the game very well. We need him to be more efficient but I am happy about his role and that he almost always finishes the game. Although he is a big we can give him the ball at the perimeter and let him dribble create

Alperen Sengun with the third triple double in this season but what amazes the most is his defense. It will need always help to guard him in the Eurobasket and he will almost always find the open man. We just need good shooters around him and we will have always multiple options to finish.

He even can not push guys like Wembenyama, Grant Williams, Sochan, and even Doncic. Last year, he destroyed Wembenyama. He looked terrible especially in both Spurs games.

But on the positive side, he looked better last night against Dallas, he just missed his shots. I hope he will explode in the next games against Warriors and New York with weak big rotations.
    He indeed moves very weirdly.

The main problem is that he gets doubled every time and he is not smart enough to solve the doubles. The spacing is not great as well. Especially VanVleet is horrible from outside. And Alperen is a bit sloppy and cant convert easy layups to points but he is shooting great from outside. He should be around 45% from outside with low volume of course.

Took a look at Alperen Senguns first prep game with the Rockets. His lateral quickness improved definitely, his flamingo shot looks like a deadly weapon right now and he already mentioned that he worked on that shot a lot and the three point shot looked awesome!

If his three pointer shot falls with high percentage hell be truly unstoppable.
