Hakeem is in excellent shape and could give you a double double in the NBA right now.
But post game declining. Only absolute freaks as Jokic and probably Sengun will consistently see some direct post-ups.LTU NT will snatch Eurobasket 2029 title with this roster:
Jokubaitis, Marciulionis, Laurencikas
Indrusaitis, Brazdeikis, Rubstavicius
Buzelis, Lelevicius
Murauskas, Sirvydis
Tubelis, Krivas

You give Sengün the ball in the post, he can spin around the base line, difficult to guard if you need to step with your weak leg then you can turn around from faceup and can score out of a hook shot or a mid range jumper and last but not least you are a great passer with court vision. It will make his game more efficient and multiply his offensive weapons.

Yeah, that's what I said. For the great post up players it will still be a valuable skill. But there's the absolute extinction of "average posting center" which was common in 80s, 90s and even 00s. Sengun has an upside to be that great breed, but essentially bigs today wants to be like Durant, Dirk and they spend so many ours developing their shooting and perimeter handling. So guys like Chet Holmgren and Victor Wembanyama emerging as the prototype of future star bigs.LTU NT will snatch Eurobasket 2029 title with this roster:

Sengun again with a very good game (especially defensively) in the NBA against Cleveland after a very poor week. Seeing him putting the ball on the floor is an agony and he struggles defensively but its amazing how he sees the floor and his feeling for the game. This mid range jumper must come around soon. His shot looks so smooth. It will go in eventually.
And he is really a foul magnet.

First time Sengun started over Wood and one of his best games. His offensive versatility is amazing. He can drive, is one of the best low post player already, he can create positions with his passing from the low post and he has upside creating a mid range jumper and knocks down 3 pointer. His shot release is slow but very smooth. Develops in the right direction. If he uses the summer break accordingly he will start to deliver allstar stats next season.
19 points, 14 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks.

Alperen Sengün with a career high of points... 27 points against Portland with 2/4 from three, 7 rebounds and 3 assists. The biggest point of development is the shot and it looks very good at least the open shots. He is trying too many buzzer beater shots and it decreases his percentage. Also good to see his offensive skill set working out. Very effective as a rolling big man, he drives, grabs rebounds, passes. He has a natural feeling of rolling to the rim and in the next years pick and pop will also be in his arsenal.
He already made a big leap in terms of athleticism and speed but his defense is still bad. First point here to get stronger. His positioning in the low post isnt bad, his habit of getting his hands up is also very good. He has like Jokic very active hands to deflect balls but he gets pushed around by nearly all centers of the league.
He is a lost case defending guards in the perimeter but if he gets the right timing he can follow wings.
He must use the time of 5 month very well and get stronger, faster and work on his open shot then I am sure he can play 30 minutes and reaches something like 15, 9, and 5. A very underestimated skill but he is also a very solid screen setter

Seems like he'll be better than Mehmet Okur. So the best Turkish all time big. Has everything for it, only injuries can prevent that.LTU NT will snatch Eurobasket 2029 title with this roster:

Houston drafted Jabari Smith on three. A much better fit to Alperen Sengun. Jabari looks like he can defend 3-4 positions and he has a great shooting stroke. Sengün now has great guys around him and can show his passing upside. I want to see him playing faster with less TO. I dont think KPJ will be a long term part of Houston but with him Sengün will have to distribute the ball.

Sengün woke up in the second half of the second game. Amazing talent offensively but he need to develop something from the mid range at least, I mean something consistent let it be a floater or a shot Idk but he must add some danger from the perimeter. He is still not at his 100% right now but his defensive presence is bad. I dont think he can play five or he must have at least a guy who can equalize his defensive weaknesses. Thanks god we have a guy like Bona who can turn out to be the perfect fit.
