Very fun and insightful documentary, especially for foreigners, made by the media members and journalists from Denver that follow closely Nuggets and Jokic. For that reason, they came to Belgrade to film documentary about Jokic primarily, but it also contains a lot of great stories about the history of Serbian basketball and its most influential figures.

A tribute to one of the finest and most talented Yugoslavian generations. This documentary gives very nice insights about what makes Yugoslavian basketball school so special, mentality of our players, pedagogical toughness of our elite coaches and how preparations were done back in the days. Generation led by Djordjevic, Kukoc, Divac, Radja under the guidance of Kari Pesic and professor Karalejic and their road to U19 World Cup title in Bormio (Italy) in 1987 (beating USA twice in the group stage and in the finals by a big margin). So fun to watch with a lot of comic moments unique to our mentality.

The history of basketball - tributes to historic players, legends
Full episode about a true basketball powerhouse in the heart of the Balkans. Vlade Divac and Zarko Paspalj talk about flying overseas and opening the NBA doo...
There are a lot of themes to talk about from this documentary, but I will emphasize one historic figure that helped develop the game of basketball - Bora Stanković.
Stankovic was the main figure of FIBA organization for decades. He was the one who insisted that USA should send their NBA players to Olympic tournament. He wanted closer cooperation between NBA and international basketball so that in time the rest of the world could be more competitve against USA team. He also insisted on organizaion of NBA clinics, developmental programs all over the world. That approach allowed international players like Divac to be one of first non USA players to play in the NBA. That opened the door for many other players outside of USA. And look what is happening right now, Euro teams playing toe to toe games with biggest USA talents in recent history. In fact, the best players today are not from USA. The game has become ultra competitive, indeed. Everyone knows how to play.
Big tribute to Bora Stankovic, a prophete and visionary. Marin Sedlacek said it nicely, what Nikola Tesla had meant in the field of physics, electricity and science to the world, Bora Stankovic is the same to the game of basketball.
This is of course a big tribute to Serbian basketball and its influence on international basketball.Tags: None
