Lbl 2006/2007

So, today will start the second stage of Latvian Basketball League. In the 1st stage 4 strongest teams (Venstpils, ASK, Barons & Valmiera) didn't play, because they participated in BBL, while 12 weaker teams competed in LBL. 4 strongest teams of the 1st stage qualified to the 1st divison and will play with 4 BBL teams. The battle will be tough, especially for the first place between Ventspils, ASK & Barons. In the second division 8 teams will fight for 2 spots to play-offs.
