I am still looking for information on Róbert Gulyás.
Can anyone tell me what team(s) he played for, and what years he played for those teams, and if he ever did score 68 points in one game, and if so, when, where, for who, against who? Team? league? Date? Score?
Thank you.

Hungarian Cup: Szolnok won! - Mar 15, 2011 (by Tamas Deri)
The team of Szolnoki Olaj KK won the Hungarian Cup last night in a very good game against Albacomp. The home team had a longer bench which allowed coach Por to give some rest of the best players of his team and that was the key of the victory again. American point guard Obie Trotter scored 17 points including 3 three pointers, hungarian guard Akos Horvath added 15 also with 3 threes, forward Ivory Clark helped his team with 16 and some very important rebounds, hungarian big man Marton Bader added 15.
Adam Hanga was shining on the court again and scored 25 points including 4 tripples, Balazs Simon added also 16 points.

Guilio, great updates, köszönjük szépen...
Can you provide us a brief history about Hungarian bball (men's)? A link would be fine too, with significant achievements, historical highlights etc.

Teams are allowed to use a maximum of three foreigners in a game.
Rich teams tend to sign more foreign players and decide before every match who is going to play and who isn't.

Winsome Frazier who played for both Falco and Szolnok last year, left Hungary and will be a player of AZS Koszalin in Poland.
Players of Körmend who had a contract with the club last season as well, didn't take part in today's training because the haven't got all their payments from 2009-2010.

Atomerőmű signed power forward Ian Johnson. He came to play in Hungary two years ago to be a player of Atomerőmű. After that season he left for Kecskemét, but now he is back.
ZTE signed playmaker Lorenzo Williams from LTI Giessen 46ers. They had to find a new point guard after key player Louis Hinnant left to Ukraine.

István Németh was injured so seriously he could play in only ten matches last season. At the first half of the season he seemed healthy so Ferrara signed him. But he failed medical examination, so they released him and signed Valerio Spinelli instead. Later, he returned to Körmend but he had to miss months and could only play some matches in the playoff (7,2 pts, 2,8 rbs, 1,9 ast, 21,9 mins). This summer he had an offer from Poland but he said after he made Körmend waiting for months for him to play a single match he couldn't leave just now, so he would stay. Last news was that he's healthy now.Last edited by Giulio Hellraiser; 08-13-2010, 02:19 PM.

What about Istvan Nemeth? Did he retire from NT?
He went back to Hungary last season and played for Kormend. Do you know whether he'll stay there or sign elsewhere in Hungary or in a foreign league?

Péter Lóránt center of national team of Hungary said 'no' to Valladolid and Manresa and stays in Ford Burgos. Lóránt - formerly with Benetton Treviso, Körmend, Antwerp Giants, and Manresa - will start his fifth season at the club. Last season he was second-best scorer (behind Budivelnik-bound Zach Morley) and the team just missed promotion.Last edited by Giulio Hellraiser; 08-13-2010, 05:40 PM.

Yes, he is a talented guy. Actually, he is a born Hungarian, so he is not neutralized. His father is from Equatorial Guinea, but his mother and grandfather raised him after the father left them and went back to Africa when he was 2.
Here you can see him playing for his club (Albacomp) against Kloestenburg and Novy Jicin

Here he plays against Hungarian outfits Hegyvidék and ZTE.

These are fan-made videos so they are mostly about nasty dunks
