Guys,what happened to Spanish coach (Ramos?)?
Was it just sprained ankle or achilles?
I had ripped achilles years ago,and all remember was pain,pain and more pain at the same time.
If...Latvians scored the last shot,it would had been one of the most extraordinary(bizarre) stories ever in basketball.I wish him all the best though.

I realize many people are high on Porzingis right now, but what is his role on pro level. Who does he defend? What does he bring to the table on offense? He gets pushed around. He cannot shot, he cannot play with his back to the basket, he doesn`t know how to set proper screen. His ability to block shots from the weakside is his only real pro skill at this moment.

I don`t see him ever being player for highest level Euroleague clubs. Maybe he gets selected in the draft, but i doubt he becomes regular rotation player in the NBA either.

Btw, Mirza Begic averaged 5,5 blocks per game at 2008 U20 Euro Championship, and this season for Real Madrid he logged 0.9 blocks per game.

For once,if you were Latvian person,you would be high for a long time,and after a while,once that feeling is gone and reality hits hard, you would stay optimistic).But that would only be if you were Latvian.
When you put things like that, and I am sure you are right like 90 percent ),I still want to give him my 10 percent of hope for the future.

he is to young not to have time to polish his skills wich are work in proces anway. his body is weak, but let's wait until his body is done. he does not look stupid like Zubcic so at worst he can be something like Fucka

I am not Latvian, but i think they have great future. I am just not very excited about Porzingis in particular. He is slightly more talented version of Rudy Gobert to me. I would take Janis Berzins over him any day of the week.
