OK, it's time to talk about Ignas Stombergas more seriously. I didn't see whole a lot of him, but I watched some of his game and I think he has tremendous upside. ATM I can't say for sure cause he might explode at some point or just remain solid, but I'm leaning towards the projection that he will be dominant big. He's very very raw, but 208-210cm big who can move, who can leap and I think he's actually crafty, just needs to polish his skillset. 2008 gen piece, now playing successfully in various tournaments. I believe Stombergas is the best big after Sabonis. As I said previously, I even see some Ilgauskas in him. Soft hands and sneaky athleticism. Ilgauskas was more skilled at this age, but Stombergas, IMO, has very deep room to grow his skills with time. I like what I see recently, he has a burst and I think with each year he'll be more and more dominant likely leading his way into NBA prospect's identity.

This cycle it's all about Sabonis obviously. But since 2029 we will be looking at Tubelis, Krivas, Butajevas, Vokietaitis, but I think Stombergas will be better than all these and may separate himself as sure fire NBA prospect.

We'll see how Stombergas will develop, but in 2032 Olympics 26yo Jakucionis and 24yo Stombergas may settle for an amazing guard and big duel. But let's first see how KJ and Sabonis will operate in 2028.

Butajevas named best player of Spanish tournament. If he's already 6'11 that's promising. I want him at 5 and he can shoot some. Will be interesting to see him with U18 jerseys this summer, along with Buika.

At this stage it's all pretty open. When players at least 18 it's easier to project.
