Im saying facts im hearing in media that around 50%-60% of top 10 current best ltu players are not comming not sure how exactly its coinspiracy


Sabonis federation managed to get always around 80% on average.Players injuries and new babies comming happend not only 2023 summer

If LTU players choose to represent the country according to who are running federation office then LTU basketball is doomed...

What a naive thought though...1992 guys barely had a reason to even play I guess...cause basically LTU basketball didn't have anything. Players themselves were selling shit to get enough money to go to Olympics.

Last year we had 100% of roster generally. No-one is boycotting this federation. There was no indication that federation is blamed for anything.

Ulanovas under Sabonis federation played 4 out of 5 summers (he was in NT camp 2016,2017,2019,2020 and refused to come in 2021)

in 2022 summer was mixed of old and new when players didnt know what to expect. Dont know what the hell happend last summer that at minimum half roster dont wanna come back in 2023.


Sedekerskis and Kulboka youngsters were cut before too,but now they feel upset for some reason to point they dont wanna come at all.



Yeah new federation people and what they hired have nothing to do with that. Its just accident that half roster dont wanna come after just one summer with new federation

Yeah, and also Ulanovas wasn't 30 (crippled after Fener) and 31yo (two times more minutes than any Rytas player as been said). Do your calculation. You're expert after all

I don't really care to justify federation by any cost. Generally I think they are working well. What Balciunas definitely did is that we hear about NT all year long. From time to time absences will happen like in 2005 or 2006 stretch or later in 2009, 2010. You are too obsessed with idea that players thinking too much who's in federation. If you want to play you do it It's not like your're waiting till Sabonis will start to yell at you to have motivation to play for your country Besides, Balciunas hired Maksvytis. Who is better to collect 1992 age group players? How can you ask for more? Even JV's (according to Pakenas) is pursuing players to come. He knows Ulanovas and Giedraitis pretty well I would say That gives credit to JV in my eyes cause last summer in exhibition stage he was a bad captain, IMO.

I will repeat myself. I am totally fine with vets skipping one or another tournament. We seen in plenty of times with Sabonis, Jasikevicius, Songaila, Lavrinovic bros and so on. When you are around 30 you either have some injuries or feel that your body is too exposed, that's totally fine. That's why I have no problem with Grigonis, Ulanovas, Lekavicius, R. Giedraitis. Those are vets.

My problem will start if such pieces as Brazdeikis, Sedekerskis decline invitation. To lose 27yo Sabonis would be huge hit too, but at least we know the reason - broken thumb. So I do want to see all U27/28 guys coming. If few vets skipping, it's totally natural.

Why Kuzminskas, Bendzius, Valanciunas coming? How come federation didn't hurt those guys feelings?

Well, Balciunas says that Sedekerskis 100% in and he's almost sure that Brazdeikis is in. To me it looks all fine, specially if Sabonis comes, but in this department unfortunately no positive news yet.
