The worst thing, great defender with streaky shooter, but that steady D and being an athletic slasher with size would still guarantee him long NBA career.
Hell need to bulk up. Not like a body builder but he is way too skinny, still not as skinny as Pokusevski.

20 old Buzelis playing in nba and dinosour expert still writting about him like he is raw project at 18 who is making little baby steps improvements in trash minutes

By this improvement speeds maybe he will be ready for 2029 fiba tournament to be winning player.

in 2025-2028 it will be raw wild mustang with no clue about european basketball. One flashy Buzelis dunk will be changed with 2-3 brainless desicions

That side step three was nasty. If he develops that, it's over. I doubt he can be lenthal with that, but he just showed he has some nasty shit in the perimeter too. It's only a question to what extent he still can develop that. Again plenty of nice things defensively:

How much positivity can you get from a night that nearly turned into a nightmare, with your leader missing 22 field goals? Look at this German national team.

Sirvydis and Brazdeikis had way better performances in that joke G league and didnt need 24 attempted shots to score 20 pts

When you shoot so badly its not about hesitants anymore its more about do kid have thinking brain ? and stop shooting when its not your day and try to think about doing something else on court that would help your team ?

or Buzelis is same breed of those selfish ,brainless Instgram clip creators ale Lamelo Ball or Lebron James son ? Im very confident predicting teams whose leaders will be such brainless alphas no chance winning anything.

When they play game of basketball they dont think about winning, they brain is occupied how to make highlights move for instragam reel.

Such type players is not my cup of tea.
As always you don't get the point With you I always have to be protective, like speaking with school pupil for whom you have to repeat the point

Good is not that he missed shots. Good that he doesn't afraid to shoot and doesn't shy away after few missed shots. Like Sirvydis who can miss 6 threes, but he will also take 7th and 8th shot and very likely make them. That's the mentality that most LTU players lack. They just don't have balls and swagger to take true leaders role and not to afraid big responsibility. G League is made for such players as Buzelis and take all shots they want, cause main objective is to let Buzelis to feel his game. Take the shots, have a freedom. He's inconsistent now, but one day he will be taking 14-18 shots per game in the NBA and will make them with solid %. What LTU has been lacking are players who could take +15 shots and wouldn't blink about it. Good players go through bad games with tons of shots (watch Denis campaign with Germany, he had some trashy games when he would miss 15 shots and so, but then again he carried them in some big games as well), but they will also win some big games. LTU role players who can take maximum 10 shots per game, will never win medals for LTU in this decade. We need guys like KJ, Buzelis that can take 25-30 shots if needed.

Bad shooting night in the G league, but showed explosiveness in several plays. Took 24 shots. Love it. Take all the shots. Hesitant role players is the least what LTU lacking.

Buzelis continues to get praised for his D. Really can stay with people consistently, even guard. Dude with that length will be glueing NT's defence.

Matas little bro dropped 40pts in high school ball game. Previously 20pts. Interesting, his jimmy looks great. He has explosiviness and verticality. Handles and shiftness are OK, but nothing too standing out, but he's skilled. Interesting what will come out from him. Pure guard.

What stood out - his defense. He can have A or +A defense career. Plus, he obviously is not "limited" offensively. Even if his offensive profile wouldn't pan out as smoothly as Franz, he would stick around still, IMO. Which would make him somewhere between starter and boderline all star. Franz is sure fire all star in his prime.
