everything depends on Zalgiris now. Bayern at home is always a tough team to play against and Zalgiris is not a great away team, but im confident they will win. bayern will most likely be unmotivated and apparently there will be 2k+ zalgiris fans in the arena.

Who could predict such season after last year's nightmare. Incredible work and it's time to really give huge respect to Maksvytis. It's like he was able to empower each and every player. Players as Dimsa, Burutis exceeded expectations. Many players did. This Zalgiris team should be studied closely. After Evan's injury there was no single elite player in the team. But what a team. Love how Iggy is in the playoffs with his first EL season Lekavicius went nuts offensively at best time possible.

I think the conclusion is very obvious. Build around hard working Lithuanians. You won't find better role players, hard workers than Liths. Couple of foreigners with good team mentality and you have team.

Taylor seems to be injury prone. Again some sort of injury. I would split ways next season. Lekavicius still has contract, Evans stays.

This dude was the worst Zalgiris player today i think (at least the only one with a bad IQ). Polonara and Hayes were empty, but at least they didn't do anything bad either. Barzdeikis in 3rd quarter made Maksvytis sick.

Pakenas saying that there's a rumor Murauskas already has an agreement with Arisona Wildcats. Makes perfect sense knowing Tubelis going out (theoretically he can still come back, but it's unlikely). Good place. Too bad Kerr Kriisa gone, we would feed Murauskas nicely and seems like Krivas may be heading to Wildcats too.

Can't wait to see Murauskas balling in NCAA. Going ISO face to the basket and dancing inside with post moves. In Lietkabelis he mainly was kept as a spot up shooter and transition option. In Wildcats he should be unleashed for proper action. This shit's coming:

in the latest basketnews podcast they mentioned that isaiah taylor is going to play against barca and his injury isnt serious, which is huge for zalgiris. it was looking really bad for zalgiris if he was going to miss the playoffs

Iggy Brazdeikis regular season highlights. Tremendous scoring potential. This season he went up and down. Another season in Zalgiris should provide offer him more consistent effort (he has plus by himself right?). After that he should know well when to be aggressive, how to take better shot and so on. I can see big EL clubs hunting Brazdeikis for 2024/2025.
