First Tubelis' appearance in 2021 NBA draft mock. He projected as 45 pick. IMO, at the very moment it's a spot on projection. He's a legitimate, definite second rounder with a nice room to go higher. If he will mess around in NCAA with fashion, which I think gonna happen, he can become a first rounder:

45 Kings Azuolas Tubelis PF – Arizona (Lithuania) – HT: 6-9 1/2 – WT: 243 – WING: NA – Fr – A multi-talented big man who has burly size, great handles and slick passing ability. Could be a breakout star as a freshman for Arizona.

The 2021 NBA Draft is deep and talented with elite players at the top and incredible depth throughout. The 2nd round of the mock...

OT: LOL, I really had to borrow this quote from one of IB posters. So true:

"How small ball works: Tall Skilled beats small skilled every time, but small skilled beats tall stiff every time" - Kevin McHale

The NCAA announced that the 2020-21 Division I men's college basketball season will begin on Wednesday, Nov. 25.

So less than a month to go till Tubelis will be unleashed at NCAA level. Could be much worse.

IMO, Tubelis should be the top five best Lith to step onto NCAA court:

      D. Sabonis, Karnisovas, Kleiza, Jasikevicius, Tubelis (Songaila, Javtokas, Brazdeikis, Kaukenas, Pocius, Petravicius, Kavaliauskas).

That's a long offseason for him. What 8 months or something? Hope he worked on his body and shot. If he would bring improved shot from 3 to the table, that would be great.

Get ready for one of the most athletic and explosive forwards Lithuania ever produced. I'm feeling pumped, will have to snatch his day view.

Tubelis is one of the top international freshman given his physical profile, his potential as a versatile defender and his flashes of on-ball creation for himself and others. https://id-prospects.com/30-freshmen...-days/#tubelis

That's where NCAA is tricky also. Tubelis didn't go there to warm the bench. 14 minutes? That's not serious.

He had 3 fouls in 14 minutes according to the stats. It means that he struggled defensively which is totally normal. He will need some time to adjust his game to the speed and physicality. He has luck that Batcho and Ira Lee are out indefinitely.

Its not my concern :P but Tibet Görener (Turk from the same team) said they have 2 years to choose his subject.

The tendency is to go after easiest course, AFAIK. At least Kavaliauskas said it has been the tendency when he was in.

That's why many of us Canadians sneer at American "student" athletes. Infamous cases of athletes graduating without actually being able to read aren't rare.

That's not the case in Canada. Athletes on university teams, e.g. hockey, basketball, gridiron football, soccer, volleyball, rugby, etc, must be academically qualified as well. In fact it's not unusual for athletes to be studying to get degrees in engineering, law, business, etc.

Incidentally has Domantas Sabonis completed his degree? Arvydas should have a word with his son if he's not working toward it.

If someone is interested in rankings, Tubelis is on 14 and Marculionis is on 15 in Eurospects ranking. Updated today...

Piece of crap...I trust The Stepians, they have Tubelis among top five best 2021 draft eligible internationals. Marciulions 10th. Eurospects and specially Eurohopes are trash, IMO. It's enough to say that they have Uleckas higher than Velicka at 1999 generation, LOL, big LOL. ANd Velicka is 14th...If he won't end up as the best player of 1999 generation he will be not too far from that.

14 mins is not unusual for a freshmen. Domantas himself played very limited time his first year.
Add that it's new place , might be nervous, also you foul trouble. Im not concerned at all.
