          • Explicit highs of Tubelis career night. Look at 3:18. It's nasty. He outruns the guard in an open court. That's the most special skill of Tubelis to me:

              • Came back strong after sprained ankle. Named a player of the week.

After hobbling through a few games, Azuolas Tubelis looked pretty close to his old self in wins over UCLA and USC last weekend. While his sprained left ankle is still probably not 100 percent, it...

                • Tubelis' exceeds Domas Sabonis' second year in Gonzaga PER 40. Particularly in points and assists (24,6pts, 4,1as), Domas' (22pts, 2,2as). But Domas was more dominant rebounder (14,8rbs), Tubelis (10,7).

I'm a bit surprised that Tubelis is so low in the draft mocks. He's either at the end of second round or out. Positional size, being tweener is worrysome, but he deserves a bit more praise, IMO. 4th most impactful college player in the country, ahead of Paolo Banchero ATM:

Can Tubelis be better at something than Sabonis? 2 things. Defence and running the floor with the ball in the open court (attacking face to the basket). But generally Domas had higher ceiling off course.

Look at that running, he will outrun all our bigs in the camp (IMO, he will be in EB camp already)

Interesting! The last Lithuanian big that could run the floor was Jonas Valančiūnas when he was a teenager.

Nope. JV never could run the floor like Tubelis. Let alone having anything close to Tubelis' handles. Not sure why you even mention him in this context. Sabonis would make sense to be mentioned in this regard:

                          • If Tubelis will add three point shooting in upcoming 2 years, watch out. He'll be a flat out NBA starter. IMO, he will stay in NCAA for another season or even 2. All he needs now is to polish his jumper hell or high water cause he has everything else.

Also, if he does develop at least a decent jumper, we'll have an answer of starting level 4 in the NT.

Because I remember him running the floor well in international youth tournaments. These are the best video clips I can find on a right now basis:

                              • I'm sure Madmax could show you better videos than the above.

I was actually really surprised when the Toronto Raptors took away Valančiūnas' running game to focus instead on him becoming simply a physical presence in the low post despite the fact that he's never had the size or strength of legendary post players such as Wilt Chamberlain or Arvydas Sabonis.
